What's with all the fat girl hate? They need love too.
Because that's the best argument that particular person had. I'm surprised they haven't busted out the "Yo mama" yet.

I think there are legitimate criticisms of Cullen, like the fact he was Knight-Captain of Krikwall's Templars and most likely had to oversee Harrowings and Rites of Tranquility, which many people see as horrific practices. Or that he failed to look into Templar abuses like Ser Alrik making Harrowed Mages Tranquil or Ser Kerras abusing Mages and threatening them with the Rite. Or, not so legitimately but Cullen Critical/Haters still use, his infamous "Mages are not people!" Or even his knee-jerk, very angry reaction to the Inquisitor allying with the Mages.
But he sees what fear of Mages can do to you, as Meredith showed, and he's trying to distance himself from the Templar Order and the man he was in Krikwall. IMO, he has a much softer view of Mages compared to DA2 while keeping in mind the potential dangers Magic can cause.
Even then you have people who never saw the Circles or the Templar Order as anything good and want nothing more but to see them gone forever, and Cullen gets lumped in with that hatred of the Circles and the Templars.

But is very clear the romance with Cullen is specifically created to the fat people who eat his couple and never get love, the fat people can't love, is science.
Some of us fat girls prefer Blackwall, thanks all the same. And most of the other LIs, for that matter.
(I mean, probably I will get around to Cullen at some point because I'm a completion about this stuff, but I'm in no hurry. He's an interesting character and all, just not my type.)

Like the Origins epilogue slides, the DAI epilogue slides should be interpreted as "Probability says..." In other words, rumor has it that Scout Harding encounters a lyrium-addicted beggar in Val Chevin who is probably Cullen and her actions alleviate his suffering. The implication is that she gives him a coup de grace, but it's also possible that she gave him money to buy more lyrium. Or that the man she encountered wasn't Cullen at all. Probability says that yes, it was definitely Cullen and that she definitely killed him out of mercy, but there is a world of difference between "probability says" and "it is certain."
I would interpret the epilogue slide to mean "If we don't change our minds, this is what is going to happen. We say this with the understanding that if we do change our minds, you, the murderous player, will undoubtedly lose yours amid cries of 'Retcon!' and 'Inconsistent, lazy writing!' but you're going to do that anyway, so we're going to go with whatever version of events makes for the better story. Besides, what would you do if you had nothing to complain about?"
As an aside, the antagonism the OP shows toward blond human males is somewhat alarming.
In my world, Commander Cullen is enjoying his retirement in good health while he helps other ex-templars overcome their addiction. I'm fine with that ending.

It's probably easy to compare Cullen to Samson and decide that either they're similar, or one is a monster and the other is trying to make himself and the world a better place.
Out of curiosity, what happens when you compare your main/canon Inquisitor to Cullen?
I figure my Inquisitor is a well-oiled killing machine compared to the Commander, even if you give him credit for his siege on Adamant and the Arbor Wilds. I killed (as Inquisitor) humans, elves, qunari, dwarves, mages, templars, more animals than I can count, every dragon I could find. I sentenced a Tevinter mage to tranquility once, and have personally executed Orlesian nobility. The list goes on.
How do you compare?
Sincerely,
Monsterquisitor

I don't blame you for your preference. I love the Blackwall romance in all its beardy glory and I definitely appreciate the fact that it isn't a storybook romance. But I also enjoyed the Cullen romance a lot more than I expected. It's predictable in a lot of ways, but it's well done and it's well written. Little moments - the story about the coin his brother gave him, wry jokes, etc - give it a certain vitality. Yes, it's an old story of love in adversity and it has a happy ending, but there's a freshness to it. I'd never discourage you from playing the Blackwall romance because, as I say, it's one of my favorites, too, but the Cullen romance is definitely worth a playthrough.

Not trying to be funny, just unpleasant
Is different do porn of a game than write a fanfic expressing your sentiments on a videogame character.
Different, how?
Because if your angle is that these "Cullenite fat girlz" live a sad, pathetic life because they express their like for a fictional character.. I'd say that going to the lengths of photoshopping or creating Dragon Age porn pictures to get off to is a lot more pathetic. If we're going by your logic here.. what does that spell? That these people can't get any in real life so they have to go to all that effort to photoshop porn.
This thread. Seriously.

That moral only makes you an hypocrite.
if you think you are a good person for not kill anyone you are very wrong. Objectively speaking.
I think you've misread or misinterpreted my post. It definitely wasn't that I think I'm a good person for not having killed anyone. In fact, what I said was rather the opposite of that.

You are saying the Inquisitor is a monster because he kills people, bad people, at least you played a terrible inquisitor that don't make Cullen better than Leliana, because at least Leliana dont kill people because of how they born, or "hated they for how they born".
My apologies, but you lost me. Please have a pleasant day.

I'm not sure if an intelligent person should "forgive" Hitler after kill million of people.. Just saying..
My epilogue is a lie then?
I believe more in the ORIGINAL GAME, instead of a "Come on guys, let's change Cullen to make the fangirls scream"(Cullen "escaped" to Kirkwall after that I guess")
You forgive so you don't become what you hate.

I'll certainly get to him eventually
. It'll make a nice change of pace, since the only Inquisitors I've got through Trespasser are the one who sent Blackwall to the Wardens and my poor Solasmancing elf. (Next up: DLC with with the Dorian romance and then the Josephine romance, and then I'll probably do Sera. So to speak.)

Ah, but you see, most of THAT pornography was made by men. Fanfiction is mostly written by women. Obviously porn made by men is always more important and less pathetic than porn made by women, especially if the women happen to be fat and/or single. I mean, without a size zero dress size and a man to validate our existence, how can we even live?

Though I've never played Assassin's Creed, I have encountered the concept before, though it wouldn't have worked in that instance. In Clan of the Cave Bear, the Clan passed on their racial knowledge (skills, etc) to their progeny (and so forth and so forth). Their memory tetention is remarkable, forgetting nothing or very little. During ceremonies conducted by their spiritualist, they could even retrace their steps along the genetic path all the way back to their primordial beginnings. But, because it was an evolutionary dead end, they could see no path forward, making change difficult. The huge brains that made their lives so full and rich at birth were killing the females who delivered them. So Nature had to make their memories sex-linked (males couldn't learn female skills and vice versa). Which meant a Clan member on his/her own had difficulty surviving for more than a short time.
Unsure how it works in Assassin's Creed, it may be a more mystical thing than a scientific one, but because (as I am understanding the concept of genetic memory) it would have to have been passed on to a progeny after burning, a person would have to have survived the burning in order to pass it on in his genetic code. In either event though, if he's dead, he certainly can't learn personally not to do it. Unless in this instance genetic memory is more keyed to the concept of reincarnation.
I should add, i was actually joking when i made the first comment.
