You start off with base 100 stamina. This sigil increases your stamina by 100%, which doubles the original 100 to 200. When I go to check my stats, it only says 100/100 despite having the Sigil equipped. I then equip a Master Stamina Amulet and it says 160/160. Can anyone explain?
Also, Mana/Stamina is capped at 200, correct?

are you at skyhold/haven? ran into a similar problem. apparently while at home base it doesn't give you the extra stamina (at least for me) but every time i would go into a zone for questing, the attributes screen would change to reflect sigil of the great bear.

I believe so, unfortunately. This makes even this sigil not very good, since having 160 stamina (or more with masterworks) at 100% regeneration speed is better than 200 at 50% regen speed.

Few could argue that it's actually one of the best sigils. Depending on what passives you use for each class, the passives can negate the loss of regen speed. I use amulet of renewal and bear sigil on Dorian for A bigger mana pool for his high cost abilities, and he spams them. Rogue with look like it hurt. You could do warrior with deep reserves that's pretty good.

Both good points. It is the best sigil I've found so far, but I haven't made anyone have really good regeneration yet. That would be great on Solas, actually! Rift Mages get mana back faster than almost anyone.

Yeah, it seems like being in skyhold was the issue.
