I made a biotic Shep with dominate, reave, flare and dark channel once. You don't have to reset anything if you're careful about assigning skill points cuz the game will reset them if it picks up you have too many.

Soldier. Simple, efficient, deadly. The soldier doesn't need anything flashy, he just goes in and gets the job done. I think it's the class that syncs best with Shepard as a character.

ME1 can sometimes turn a bit painful without hacking skills. And I like the idea of being sentinel or infiltrator. But in practice vanguard is the most fun, hands down and full stop. The controls and battle pacing feels perfect for vanguards. I didn't even enjoy fighting in ME3 at all as anyone else, for some reason (in ME1 and 2 certain other classes were still fun enough). Guns are boring, especially once you start running out of ammo, just give me some simple pistol for emergencies, but biotic charge's the true guilty pleasure for my pacifist character and me.

Infiltrator, no doubt about it. Wouldn't even consider the other classes.

I like the Biotics.    Adepts, Vanguards, and Sentinels are my favorites.    Don't think I have ever played a soldier, but engineer was fun in ME3... not so much in the first 2.

Adept is my favorite, I've always had a soft spot for telekinetic powers. Second would probably be Vanguard, it's a lot of fun, even though I'm not as good at close quarters combat. Honestly I'll never be able to understand why Soldier is so popular.

for me

first and foremost: a tie between the sniper-spec'd infiltrator & CQC spec'd Vanguard, followed by the sentinel, adept, engineer, and soldier dead last.

Sentinel, Adept (in 3), or Infiltrator. I really can't choose. I like them all for different reasons.

Adept with a shotgun.

2nd place tied with vanguard and engineer.

3rd soldier
4th sentinel

200th infiltrator.

Soldier didn't really start to become problematic until ME3, where the weapon free for all made them a wee bit pointless. They really should've given them a bigger weight capacity bonus.

I like using an Infiltrator during the actual game, but I'm really bad at it on Multiplayer. I always forget to use cloak, and die, as they don't have much health and ruin everyone's match.

yeah I like them too that's why I can't really choose between Soldier and Adept really as I like both equally and both have elements I enjoy most. Soldier you can pretty much pick up any weapon and use it and Adept because I like throwing things around. I just love those telekinetic abilities came in really handy for dealing with the hordes of husks you have to deal with. Also the scene with Kaira Sterling in Quinns office in ME1 when she says well I don't need a gun to rip you to pieces and my biotic Shephard is thinking "well guess what neither do I" then befoer Sterling knows it she's down on her arse or with her head planted in a wall.

Infiltrator, love the cloak and sniping enemies from afar.

Wow, engineers getting almost no love, people must not like drones and turrets and stripping shields and armor/flesh incineration.

maybe bioware can give engineers an upgraded drone that fires a reaper laser.

I know you jest but it brings up a issue I see often.

I think it's a mistake to equate popularity with power. D&D has made this mistake continually making the cleric one of the if not the most powerful class in the game to boost its popularity. It doesn't work outside a small group of gamers only concerned with power. People just don't like the themes or roles of the class.

Engineer is probably the most powerful class in ME3. It's power is not the issue. I'll even say manning each class equally popular shouldn't be a goal. Certain themes just are more popular having classes that fill in off themes so people who like less popular class concepts have a outlet is a good thing. It never will have the same draw but it's not supposed to. It just needs to exist for the people who don't like soldier or Mage or whatever.

I don't know about that as I like engineer but it's more a class of things that have been seen and done before I think. Biotics at leas t kind of offered something nwe and slightly different.. I think it's moer you can't do a game like ME without having engineering options. I think they're good and it's fumn to send drones after your enemies but it's not exactly something we haven't seen before. Soldiers are always going to be popular because sometimes people just wan tto get in there and kill things. Really Biotics are really the only newish type thing that's been added to thissort of game with ME at least power wise anyway.

what, you never heard of power modding? mine is pretty simple at that, I gotta reinsert Shockwave & Incinerate after every loading screen but I got tons of points for that. and the Spitfire can exist for as long I want "( Name="A", Command="giveitem self minigun" )" - but never during cutscenes, otherwise my Shep's limbs become elastic like he's a contortionist.

so why doesn't your Shep take on MY Shep and see who ends up as Reaper chow in the end, and we're gonna see if it counts. your Shep will be Reaper chow and it'll count plenty.

My Shep will just turn on godmode and beat both of yours.

What, that doesn't count?

Exactly couldn't hasve put it better really it's just gives the game an opportunity to expand and do something else
