Infiltrator would be my favorite. I really like being able to cloak and flank enemies while the party keeps them distracted.
What is your favorite class archetype in the mass effect series

Infiltrator, in ME with no ammo, I just blew everything away with my sniper rifle, even at close range, in ME2 and 3 they get tech powers like Incinerate, which is a fantastic power. Add in Energy Drain as a bonus and disruptor ammo, you can kill anything super easy and you get to throw powers around, like a Sentinel, but way better, nothing quite like stealthing up to a bad guy and power attacking him right in the noggin.

Love vanguard. When it comes to fantasy, I've always been into the melee spellcaster archetype: the tankiness & fast, up close action of a melee fighter, with the flashy, stylish yet manipulative magical fireworks of spellcasters.
In a way, I feel like vanguards are Mass Effect's sci-fi answer to this sort of archetype. Fast, mobile, in your face, and armed with them funky biotic space magic slinging abilities. I'm weird and unpractical and like to arm my vangaurds w/ sniper rifles so that I can attend to any situation. I always have a need to feel flexible.
Bingo. Mix a soldier and an adept and you get a Vanguard. Guns and space magic.

... and nothing else. I'm too attched to my sniper rifles. Plus it was always fun to snipe through those Cerberus troop carrying shield (forgot what it's called. Been a very long while since i played).
Edit: plus that stealth! Never forget that stealth ability. Love to just sneak behind and shoot point blank at the enemy

I voted for Vanguard - it's always been my fave. Nothing like charging into battle with my trusty shotgun by my side! It's probably why I like playing mages with Fade Step in DA:I - it's the closest I can get to being a Vanguard on Thedas.
Damn, I need to try that!!! Unless I already did and forgot.
Can't remember...
The knockdown skill of the rogue in DA2 sort of reminds me of vanguard... it's not an effective skill, but paired with Fenris, I love seeing enemies flying left and right.^^
I need to replay ME3 as a vanguard asap!
