After all the searching, dragons killed (NM), coined spent .... I finally got the one stave that eluded me for the longest (spent 85k)

The Yalavianilla .... (guess gthat's how it is spelled, who knows, who cares)

Standard issue stave for taking that lvl one in NM (now if only I could get a mage at level one with combat roll.... hmmmmm)

Anyhow, great staff, low dps but I love it yo!!!

Grats! It was one of my first major items. I have played only a couple of weeks, so I don't think there is a loot threshold on it.

Is King Fisher better?  I just got it over weekend.  I still have not step foot in over Threatening yet.   I found out that HOK on the staff doesn't work if you kill with chain lightning.  It seems to work with Spirit Blade but AW is already pretty awesome.   I was hoping a HOK staff would make my keeper unkillable.   Also I don't know what's the deal with void spell on the staff.. it does the void for like 0.5 second... what good is that?  It doesn't pull anything to anywhere.

Yes. Better dps, hok and crit dam if you build it right and last but not the "pull of the abyss" (not "the void") will keep you pretty safe if you are being bum rushed . You can do plenty hopping away from trouble in 0.05 sec to put some space in between you and a free trip to the fade...which is aways waiting

P.s. barrier damage bonus is not to bad either...

I like the yavanalis.The 5 guard on hit is really nice,and I think it's still a descent trade off for the slightly lower damage output.
