Well...he did say "his preference". That's different than ranking the SRs by in-game effectiveness.

I hate it just that much.One of the coolest looking SR's in the game IMO,and the biggest pain in the ass to use.

CSR is great on PC. The only issue is the small clip size. People who cannot manage its small clip size usually are the ones who dislike it.

Incisor/Indra, would not bang-bang-bang, would trade for Valiant XX.

I presumed that it might be something to do with framerates making the CSR overheat quicker on the PC or something. It would be 2nd or 3rd best sniper imo

I think it's an excellent gun that I can manage quite well...

I can't stand beam weapons. For the same reason, PPR is one of my least favorite ARs to use.

 

I know both of them have really good DPS but I can't stand using them.

I quite like the Incisor in Silver, using barrage gear and a stability consumable to tame the kick as others have mentioned.

 

I've never tried it in Gold.  I've considered it, but generally end up playing it safe with the Valiant, Widow or Black Widow instead.

Krysae can stunlock enemies like only few other weapons can (none of which are other sniper rifles).

 

Also, it was so positively obscene before the nerf that it's still getting interests from that time

Anything that destroys phantoms and gets rid of their DR BS is golden for me.

Incisor isn't a bad gun, provided you give it stability and can aim. It's a fairly efficient mook killer, not unlike Valkyrie or Argus, while having above average DPS. Not top shelf, but not terrible. My main problem with it is that it fills the same niche as the Raptor and Indra, but neither require stability, making them more versatile on more builds. It could also use a lower power scope, but that's not a big deal.

That thing is sub par even on the GI. I'd probably rate it last, or maybe just ahead of the Viper.

10/12 are great. Viper and Indra can do the same things (better) as the raptor and incisor, respectively. Every other sniper has some perk that makes it worth using.

 

The krysae, even post-nerf, is pretty cool. Procs ammo powers well, reliably staggers and has a nice damage bonus vs armor which makes its boss-killing ability less of a liability. An infiltrator with the rank 6 cloak bonus can make it a very useful weapon. It's better at close-to-mid range because you can fire it faster that way. I wish more pugs brought it along because it's an excellent crowd control weapon.

Incisor is one of the most objectively awful weapons in the game. 

 

I can control the recoil, I can even waste a slot on stability, and aim for the head with this gun and still get absolute **** performance that doesn't justify its drawbacks. If a weapon has some crapass mechanic that makes it irritating to use, it had better at least be worth learning to control, like the Argus, which is actually somewhat decent with l2aim/l2controlrecoil, or the Kishock, which is top tier provided you're not getting GG NO RE'd by someone in siberia hosting from a potato. But the incisor? Have a perfect game with it, put warp IV, sniper III and a GI on it and maybe you'll make quick work of some husks and cannibals.

 

Raptor and Viper aren't exactly the greatest guns ever, either, but they're not half as fuckin' annoying to use so I can forgive them.

 

so in other words, I don't rate the incisor very high and as this post demonstrates it apparently makes my butt hurt when i use it.

Anyway, Incisor, about decent for shits'n'giggles in Bronze, just about treading the line between shits'n'giggles and purposefully gimping yourself in Silver and only really worthwhile in Gold if you just want to derp around and have unwavering faith in the quality of your teammates ... though playing an Incisor-Only Gold match with friends is one of the few ways to challenge yourself in Gold without having the pure Platinum boss rush ... and Incisor on Platinum, lolno; I don't have the patience to wait for all those armored bosses to die slowly.

 

I'll sooner take the Predator into Platinum than the Incisor on anything that I'm not readily accepting to die by husk facehumping and even then, the Predator is better, 'cuz: "lol Predator, l2p u scrub, Ima not gonna rez yo swy ass, noob" -> topscore with Predator -> "H4CKZ!!!1!"
