The other end of the gun, or the other end of the butthurt?
why not both?
Kinky.

Anyway, Incisor, about decent for shits'n'giggles in Bronze, just about treading the line between shits'n'giggles and purposefully gimping yourself in Silver and only really worthwhile in Gold if you just want to derp around and have unwavering faith in the quality of your teammates ... though playing an Incisor-Only Gold match with friends is one of the few ways to challenge yourself in Gold without having the pure Platinum boss rush ... and Incisor on Platinum, lolno; I don't have the patience to wait for all those armored bosses to die slowly.
I'll sooner take the Predator into Platinum than the Incisor on anything that I'm not readily accepting to die by husk facehumping and even then, the Predator is better, 'cuz: "lol Predator, l2p u scrub, Ima not gonna rez yo swy ass, noob" -> topscore with Predator -> "H4CKZ!!!1!"
Actually, the Incisor is halfway decent against bosses. It has higher sustained DPS than the Black Widow, Javelin, or Widow. You might lose a little damage to multiple hits on an Atlas with the Incisor, but not a ton if you have both piercing mods on the gun. You might also lose some damage by not getting headshots on a few bosses, although I really only worry about headshots a lot on Brutes, Scions, Praetorians, and maybe Primes. Where the Incisor truly suffers is against mooks, because the recoil makes it difficult to get multiple headshots.

Incisor can't reliably exploit the Atlas multi-hit or Geth Prime/Reaper Banshee/Reaper Brute headshot damage bonus due to its recoil and spread. Arguably the only bosses that the Incisor isn't having trouble with are the Collector Praetorian and Scion and that only because it's next to impossible to not hit their weakspots.
Likewise, theoretical DPS, with or without reload cancelling or damage multipliers the Incisor is further let down due to its need to expose yourself continously to achieve the maximum dps, whereas other sniper rifles with higher damage per shot but slow RoF, whilst technically having a lower maximum dps, can pop->shoot-> retreat beck behind cover/soft or hard) in an instant, meaning comparatively little exposure to enemy fire compared to the Incisor, simultanously meaning less time spend waiting for recharging shields (unless your kit is running with low shield stats and gets shieldgated everytime it peaks anyway) and thus higher effective DPS, plus living longer to dish out damage in the first place.
So let me ask this. For everyone that hates the Incisor, you all must of not tried it with a ton of stability help. Correct?
Is the Crusader a sniper rifle. . .?
^ Can it pop a fully shielded melon in a single cast?
You're missing the awesomeness of this gun...Bronze baby! Own the PUGS! You can even hipfire it and it's still awesome! Incendiary 4 was a bit overkill I'll grant you, but hey, it works
i doesn't get the fuss about the incisor. its similar to the argus in some way. it needs stability and/or accuracy bonuses. without it the gun is crap, with it the gun can be easily used even on gold. just as assault rifles need ap ammo or piercing mods so certain setup, the incisor also needs certain setup and that is stability and or accuracy bonuses.

Nope, tried it with and without.

Anything can be used on Gold if the player is good enough to play the gun and not be played by it. Doesn't change that a bad gun is a bad gun. Incisor has exactly one redeeming quality: it's a murder machine on ME2 squadmates.

Yes, the Incisor can get multiple hits on Atlases quite easily, just by using the 2 piercing mods. It can also get multiple hits on Banshees by using the 2 piercing mods (which are much better than headshots, BTW). Plus, if you use Phasic Ammo on any of the hard-hitting sniper rifles (as many do), you're not getting armor damage from your ammo. With the Incisor, you should be using Incendiary Ammo (or you can use Drill/AP) because you don't need to worry about shield gate, and that will bump up your armor damage.
Look, I'm not saying the Incisor is better than the Black Widow or Javelin or Widow against bosses. It's not. I'm saying it's not bad against bosses (better than most guns, actually), and its real weak point is in taking out mooks quickly.
Hoh?
I admit I haven't played ME3 MP in a looooong time (stopped pretty much just a couple months after the last MP DLC hit), so my memory may be a bit faulty, but how can you get multi-hits on a Banshee? Where's the sweet spot on the hitbox to get a second damage call?
Seems I need to fire up ME3 MP again if my memory is getting sketchy.

If you can get her to raise her "hand of denial", just shoot for her torso and you will get double hits. I don't think you even need that much penetration (1.5 or 2m). You can only do it when she has her "bubble" up though, which means you need to get her to stop teleporting and then fire a projectile power at her. I don't think you will get double hits if you shoot her head.
10/12 are great. Viper and Indra can do the same things (better) as the raptor and incisor, respectively. Every other sniper has some perk that makes it worth using.
Indra is in essence a full auto rather than burst fire Incisor with both at X, though it is notable that the latter has ever so slightly higher sustained DPS so could still concievably have a niche in weapon platform builds where one wants to use an automatic sniper and doesn't mind the necessary stability compromise.
But Raptor and Viper? The former fires 6x as fast as the latter and does just under 1/3 of the damage per shot (giving it more than 50% higher DPS). They're hardly the same or even similar, and the Raptor isn't really worse at anything except for single shot ammo proccing and inability to OHK some unshielded mooks on sliver/ bronze that the Viper can.

Thanks ditka...
If this is indeed true...well it might explain why it always seems my 'double-hit' attempts never do quite the damage that I witness from others.

I think that's how it works. I think the "double hit" is hitting the bubble and then hitting the Banshee. I always aim for center mass and it works fine.

I didn't understand their chosen comparisons. I would've compared Indra and Raptor (One being basically a full auto version of the other, albeit looking nothing alike, though, being a UR works in the Indra's favour, since the comparison only holds at Raptor X with Indra I), and the Viper and Incisor (I actually like the Viper, but only for Bronze and Silver, it's not objectively suck, it's stable, with moderate damage, a headshot is still great on against mooks on Bronze/Silver, neither were meant to be used in Platinum anyway).
One of very few guns I haven't used at all, and based on the comments from above it looks like it will stay that way......
You'd do well to try em all. Incisor among other may suprise you. It's great on TSol and Quarksman. Slap on some AP ammo and use it as a battle rifle up close and personal. You don't even have to scope half the time. I however wish it didn't get nerfed so bad from ME2 where it had very little recoil.
put a stability III which you stock for more than 255
not a bad gun on gold with good use of ammo , power combo
you can score multiple HS with it
mantis is the worst for single bullet rifle
Awful awful gun, one of my most hated. Pure garbage.

But it's dps matches other top dps SRs. Saying it's pure garbage is like saying pure ignorance.
