if there is one, at least make it worthwhile.
Please no more tedious sidequests

Witcher 3 NAILED all sidequests.
ALSO always cinematic camera on dialogue. ALWAYS
Exactly!
DAI had poor sidequest and CDPR showed Bioware how they should be done.

I've said that already somewhere on this forums.
I hope BW treated DAI as a test bed for new Mass Effect to learn the engine and see what they can do with it.
As for writing, well, we'll see...
CDPR beat BioWare twice already. First with their Aurora engine that was used to create Neverwinter Nights. CDPR took it, expanded it and built first Witcher game on it.
Just look how different those two games look and how awesome in comparison TW is.
Second time with TW3, with the structure of the quests and story.
I would say they already beat BW with TW2 when it comes to weight of choices in quests and the story overall.
None the less Shepard's Mass Effect is and will be one of my favourite games/stories for a long time.

I like ME3 and W3 side quests. Ardat Yakshi monastery, Geth Consensus etc. pretty much awesome missions and easly fit next to any main mission. However in W3 you actually don't feel the difference between sidequests and main quests and that is one of the clever way how to handle side missions in an RPG game.

Maybe if CDPR and Bioware teamed up on Andromeda, I would die happy.

Bioware does however beat CDPR in save import and continuity.

For the whole sidequests matter I do have to agree because terrible sidequests can really hurt a game, although I didn't mind Inquisition. I think any RPG will always have good and bad sidequests, whether or not the sidequest itself is good or bad will come down to the gamers themselves and their opinion.

I think Witcher 3 was the game that really put CDPR "on the map" and it will be Cyberpunk 2077 that really pushes them to the next level. I wouldn't be shocked if Cyberpunk 2077 nearly doubles the sales that TW3 had simply because CDPR would still be riding the momentum from TW3.

Did anyone ever realize that Super Mario 64 is basically one giant collection side quest?
WHO the @#$% CARES what Super Mario is.
That is the weirdest responce I have read in a long time.

Got to love someone mentioning The Witcher 1 in a thread complaining about side/fetch quests when The Witcher 1 can literally just be called "Fetch Quest: The Video Game" and yes I played through that completely and that is a valid title. Even Witcher fans complain about it.

No. Never do that. Never.ALSO always cinematic camera on dialogue. ALWAYS
Cinematic dialogue was a mistake from the start. BioWare never should have started doing that.

Not a fair comparison, given the difference in available hardware.CDPR beat BioWare twice already. First with their Aurora engine that was used to create Neverwinter Nights. CDPR took it, expanded it and built first Witcher game on it.
Just look how different those two games look and how awesome in comparison TW is.
BioWare used that same engine in KotOR, Jade Empire, DAO, and DA2. Given that TW1 uses a very similar control scheme to NWN, whole KotOR, DAO, and DA2 allow full-party control, I'd say BioWare did quite a bit more with that engine that CDPR did.

You do know that KotOR, one of Bioware's best games was built on an iteration of Aurora right, the Odyssey? As was Jade Empire. And Odyssey was licensed to Obsidian for K2 and NWN 2.CDPR beat BioWare twice already. First with their Aurora engine that was used to create Neverwinter Nights. CDPR took it, expanded it and built first Witcher game on it.
Just look how different those two games look and how awesome in comparison TW is.
Please keep up.

although I spent hours reading the codex in Witcher 3, and Witcher 3 has bloody novels too, I feel like I could spend years reading the codexes, Wiki's, comics, fan art and fanfic for Mass Effect and Dragon Age. I just love the ME and DA universes so, so much.
Maybe if CDPR and Bioware teamed up on Andromeda, I would die happy.
I was going to say. witcher has a lot of background in books and so far CDPR didn't really make real RPG game based on their own idea.
They are working on Cyberpunk game right now which isn't theirs as well. BW has more experience on that field.
