Ever missed a side quest? I have lol and it was suppose to be slightly importent for my character. It's not an item quest or anything it's mainly for flavor lol it was suppose to be added lore for my character and I missed it...so that sucks. I'm already so far in the game but parts of me wanna restart it so I can do that side quest.

I'm not gonna do that mind you... cause jesus some of these quests are annoying to do and having to go back and do them over again just for ONE side quest is kinda silly. (Even though it kinda spits on my lore by skipping it.)

I'm just gonna say my character wasn't idk interested in doing that and skipped it. It sucks but what's there to do?

My question is...have you ever had to rewrite you're own LORE for you're character on the fly like that? You missed something but too lazy or too far into the game to do anything about it so you just re-wrote you're own character's lore lol.

Sure,I miss a lot of side quest because I would rather  move forward in the game. To be honest I do around 50% give/take..

My warden doesn't want to be a Gray but,had little choice..After ending the blight  my warden,Leliana and Shianna gets drunk the night before my warden and Leliana starts their journey to see the world-my normal game ending. :D

Of course the Grays starts looking for my warden within a month since there's trouble afoot at Virgil's Keep. That's the story I use for importing my warden from DA:O. ;)

You know what I missed? That shriek encounter thing. Playing as a Dalish elf I missed my lore moment! Aaaaaah!

As for re-writing lore, I do ALL the side quests, but I had a brainwave whilst working out (If you can call dragging my fee at 3km/h on the treadmill working out) the other day.
How cool would it be if the Warden sommer deserted after the joining. The the whole dark spawn chronicles thing happens, and then Alistair is there at Archie. But THEN, warden swoops in, chucks a knife at Archie, who dies. Then runs off. And maybe with some sort of glitch in the grey warden system, they survive the killing of Archie without the ritual and become the NEW Archie (Maybe too much Archie blood in the cup?). Then the rest of the game is about Alistair finding the deserter warden, and slaying them, before they retreat underground. Covering the deep roads holes and stuff. Oh gosh! And then the corrupted deserter kills themself at the end, realising what they have become! Or maybe ally get's there first... And goes all stab kill!
Anyway... I think that's MY kind of rewriting...
I should write a fanfiction...

I'm not so much rewriting my lore as I am debating a change in plans atm. I'm doing a DN playthrough and I just hit Orzammar. My original plan was pretending to side w/ Bhelen then give the crown to Harrowmont but certain things I accidently read on the wiki are making me rethink that. Now, i'm having second thoughts about those second thoughts due to every other dwarf I meet calling me a kinslayer though I chose not to kill Trian.

Times like these make me wish every dialogue had "bury your axe in their face" as an option.
