Cos it's pish. Theoretical DPS and actual DPS should never be confused. I'd rather use every weapon you've listed, apart from the Argus or Incisor.

I use it on Silver to get the challenge points...would be a very annoying gun to use on Gold..against Collectors it can rack up quite a number of head shots.

I'd rather use the Avenger than the Vindicator.

You really like bad guns, right ?     

I consider the Vindicator as the worst assault rifle, I would rather use the Avenger instead, at least it reminds me the SP.

 

Also, where do you stats come from ? Because I don't see how the Vindicator can be compared to the Javelin, Widow, Black Widow, Claymore... If you're right, then it shows that sometimes theoretical dps can be a very misleading data regarding efficiency.

Cause as a guy that prefers to use "bad" weapons and maximize their potential, even I can say the Vindicator is pretty low tier.

If you do give the Vindicator to a turian or a batarian it does make one excellent baseball bat.

Disregarding the fact that you're clearly pulling DPS stats out of your ***, the vindicator's overall a decent gun that does it's job. Nothing incredible, but it's reliable.

What numbers have you been looking at? I didn't need to check past your first named example to see your statistics aren't correct.

Also these stats are from cyonans spreadsheet. These deeps stats are also assuming you don't get headshots.

I don't know where he got his numbers.  Many of the guns he listed have significantly higher "theoretical" DPS than the Vindicator, and a LOT higher practical DPS.

 

Anyway, the Vindicator is usable on Gold, but only with one exact setup:  Recoil Mod, Extended Barrel, APIV and Stability Consumable.  It's actually really good at headshotting with that setup, and you can put it on a caster class with good anti-armor powers and do OK with it.  There is no setup where it can do better than "OK" on Gold though.

Predator is amazing on everything ... well, possibly not on console, but on PC it absolutely is.

 

I'll give you a hint: bind the fire key to your mousewheel and let her rip (also does wonders with the Mattock and Raptor) !

Nope, because fire-delay. Shuriken is a genuinely horribad weapon that you're better off throwing at the enemy than shooting them with.

Shuriken is easily the worst Common, with a good arguement to be had for worst gun in the game (I'm too tired to be bothered thinking about ALL the guns right now). The other commons perform basically exactly as they should. The uncommons get a little.... whacky.... Vindicator and Mattock in the same class is actually funny (in the sad kind of way). I loved the Vindicator in ME2, before I got the Mattock, it was my go-to weapon on every class (Always took AR training so that I could get it), but like all the good guns in ME2, ME3 made it suck, bad. Vindicator is acceptable for Silver, but since it is the same rarity as Mattock.... well, I'd rather take a Mattock 1 than a Vindicator X.

Speaking of terribad guns..I just saw TechnoTurian is posting a video of a 29 min Platinum Asari Adept w Viper...yes, that viper...
