hmmmm  I thought tank meant you tank for the team

killing isnt really why I bring the lego

hence I run 2 taunts  war cry and counterstrike

and walking fortress with payback strike

I hit bulwark and untouchable defense

I wear the amulet of aggression and keep taunting

its funny when I run and the room is full they follow me

I guess thats why I need the payback strike

At least guard works on your Lego :P

Yeah, that's all fine and dandy if you are in a region with lots of players, but if you have to solo or duo NM(other than FC) most of the time, you wanna be sure that your Lego actually can kill something.

That's a really cool tank build, and I may try it at some point.  I don't find much need for a dedicated tank these days, when promotions are so high across the board and many classes are self-sufficient in nightmare without tank support.  In some ways, I do lament that promotions have made this form of careful build strategy and team selection unnecessary.

Lego was very useful in our Heartbreaker runs.  Stopped the team getting inappropriately sexually referenced.

There is a reason my Lego & Templar were taken to 250+ earlier than some characters, other classes. Because they can Tank.

For myself the obliteration of Unbowed for both the Lego & Templar never had an effect on my use and survivabilty of my Lego.

From early back in the dayz I always ran the same build, thus performing the same function in a group. PB/SB/CS/WF.

As for the Templar not having Unbowed available, it has wrecked the Templar for me. I'm sure Livid has found a home for some, but it changed the rhythm of tank then attack for me. Unbowed made it easy to gain gaurd and knock back surging eneny giving room to pop off WH/SP with less interruption.

As far a charging builds go, it seems some are more steerable than others. Never noticed the stamina drain when running Lil Elvis but I will certainly now be watching for it. I'm a bread & butter kinda scrub. I like  a dagger in the other hand that ensures more gaurd.

Wear whatever dagger you want in my games.

Every 6th button click will be a 95% team barrier :)

I find myself not needing walking fortress anymore, stats are high enough that I will rarely die on Lego. So I play without it so I don't have to spend all those points getting there

You're still playing with Walking Fortress if using the Hakkon :P

Every time I play Lego I take WF.  Guess I feel naked without it or it's pure habit.

Plus it's fun to see 6 shields spinning round you for kicks.

Even doing that I would rather have Counterstrike or War Cry personally, war cry most likely. It is more useful: short cooldown, you take 1 damage for 10 seconds versus no damage for 6. And it taunts (exp) and gives guard for each enemy. It makes you way more durable than WF. And you can get cutting words right after to do extra damage when you taunt. All-in-all war cry is 9465926473947x (rough estimate ;) ) better than WF.

But,in the newest build I ditched PbS and took Counterstrike+amulet of aggression. Will see how would that go.

Extra: When interrupted, Payback Strike can't be used until you get back up again. This means it is much less efficient at recovering from knockdown than Walking Fortress, the old Unbowed or Dive Roll

Livid has recovery too... (I'm a fan of Livid).
