I'm back! and with a brand new cruddy weapon to persuade you to use!

the Krysae!

A powerful beast! getting kill streaks here and there...


but enough about its hay day. Its damage is very low, even by my low low standards. and now the krysae is nothing but an ammo primer, but is as good as other primers?

Uh.... It's pretty decent against Geth if you use it on the Salarian Infiltrator with Incendiary or Disruptor Ammo.  Shoot a couple of times, then use Energy Drain or Proxy Mine to detonate.  It's also acceptable on the Salarian or Human Engineer.  It's really good against Phantoms.  That's all I got.

put it on the Huntress w Incid ammo....double explosions..it is beautiful..the fire rate goes perfect with the Cloak / DC / Shoot-Shoot-Shoot / Warp / Re-load cycle...destroys reapers & cerberus...is a little tricky vs geth...collectors can go either way...

It's possibly the worst gun in the game. Even the Shuriken has more DPS, and is a lot lighter, meaning that at least it is less deadweight on caster setups.

Krysae is actually pretty boss against certain factions/enemies.  Most mooks and pretty much all Geth get pretty messed up if you bring the right combo.  You don't even really need an Infiltrator.  I actually think the gun works great on a Jugg.  Throw on Inci/Disruptor rounds (or even cryo), and Siege Pulse for da boom booms!  That's just the most recent kit I played it on, but it's pretty versatile.  Also fun since you don't really have to aim that well, if an enemy is in cover or you have to be quick, just aim somewhere near their body and it will explode as it passes them!

 

As for a rating, I dunno, somewhere in the middle.  It's pretty fun but there are several rifles that are better.  I almost put it in it's own class aside from sniper rifles.  Kind of like the Reegar isn't really a shotgun.

Before it got nerfed, it was a glorious weapon w/cryo or Incendiary ammo  and then you put it on the MQI with pre nerfed arc grenades?

I use it for the CC and ammo priming.  Kinda like the SR answer to the Falcon/Venom/Scorpion.

this gun get a bug that the damage is not registered while enemy is staggered.

usually 3 shot you get 1 shot like this

this bug heavily reduce the damage ,not the nerf from BW.

though they nerf it heavily, it is reasonable for this gun

Used for challenges and thats about it.  BioWares kill a lady bug with a hammer style of balancing that one was.

Looks cluncky as a sniper, but not in a powerful way, -1;

Sucks even on a Turian kit, -3;

Yet another sniper challenge, +1

Overall 1/10 for me. I rate it even below the Incisor.
