Used / refurbished / last gen ones should be cheap. I'm using my old xb360 controller. Of course you're free to buy new ones too. Its your money.
You play Sara on controller at all? The leap is easier to use on her with controller, and she generally doesn't have to target too much given she just bursts everything. Silent sister Spinning blades is easier to control / move around too during the animation, since it response to movement inputs too just like AL and FS during its animation.
Of course on Zither I just spam hot licks a lot of the time on Perilous. There aren't a whole lot of fire resistent enemies outside Qunari & Dwarf faction, who just die to PC anyway.
I suppose I could put together a montage highlight (or lowlight) reel of me constantly getting hit by the dragon because as anyone who's ever played with me can laughingly attest to...that dragon LOOOOOVVVVVVES to single me out like fresh prison bait! Especially as soon as I pass/spawn through a door! *Bonus content; full commentary catalog of my variation of phrases exclaimed... 
I actually think Assassin is a good canidate for an interesting Solo HB video, especially if they have bosun's blade. I sthink Bargain is better for NM though.
I have bargain, and its super fun. The up front damage and abiltiy to drop aggro make Assassin very possible to solo HB. Solo NM is easy too, and pretty fast given you're not spawn camping.
How many times do I have to tell you, you can't spawn camp with one person.

Two guys get killed up top near the exit door of zone two, there is just a mob up there so I will have to be good to do a rescue. If you were really gung-ho about it, you could get a team of players to keep on creating maps until his faction appears. What kind of crates show up at the beginning of old maps are a give-away too.

This gave me an idea. Use Grappling Chain on Legionnaire to pull Horrors/Shadows towards your squishy ranged teammates, then turtle up with Shield Wall and Walking Fortress while your teammates get melted/shanked.

Izzy speed run with Bloody Bargain and Audacity. I've been running this on threatening with tier 1 armor... explode all the rooms.
I am now leveling Izzy to do this, I will probably do it on peri because I forgot how to play her, it has been a long time

Nice, Miss Sara Buss dominates the revenant and horror. The Druffy hypnotic dance is still the best however.
