I have started several Inquisitors with the latest patch, and I have always used the command-line option that forces 60 FPS cutscenes (-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+). I noticed that I have not seen the bug that often used to happen when starting the game with the 60 FPS command line options, where after character creation your character would get stuck in the starting Fade area, unable to progress to Haven.

It has always been recommended to start the game with those command line options off, then use them again after you get control of your character and can save the game. Also you can't use them in multiplayer. You get all kinds of weird warping and character control problems if you try to play multiplayer with the 60 FPS options.

I think BioWare may have actually fixed that problem, at least for single player, in the latest patch!

Beware that Trespasser does not cooperate well with that command, i.e. screen freezes whenever you go to choose your party.

I didn't have any trouble with it while playing Trespasser.

I know this is out there but it might be worth double checking that the command line definitely is still there. Whenever i've patch updated or repaired, it's removed it on mine and I have to re-apply it. I get why repairing does it, not so sure why I have it happen with patches. I only mention it because the first time I realised it had happened, was when a new character didn't fall through the world at the beginning after a patch update and i'd forgotten to remove it myself before hand.

I also thought the Trespasser problems with it on were universal. I know I can't transition through the Eluvians with it on. If it's not that, then lucky you ;)

When I installed Trespasser it put a new icon on my desktop that replaced the one I had added the command line to, so yes, it certainly is worth checking. This also happened after updating to patch 11, but I had renamed the shortcut to something else -- DAI 60 fps -- so the patch simply added an additional desktop shortcut that I afterward deleted.

I have a separate shortcut that I made that has the options. I use two shortcuts, one for single player and one for multiplayer, so yeah, the command line options are definitely still there.
