These were the two fans who won a competition to voice minor characters: Flissa and Lord Pel Harmond.

Here's Flissa:

And here's Harmond:

I remember thinking they were good even before I knew they were amateurs. Flissa sounds suitably flustered, and Harmond is sinister and slimey, just like he should be.

Yep. Professional voice acting, you can't tell any difference between them and the rest of the voice acting they used.

Rosie also did Elan, that herbalist who replaces Adan, and the Enchanter Ellendra.

Steven also did the leader of the Blades of Hessarian and some elven guard around Skyhold who never seems to appear.

Huh. I never realized those two weren't part of their standard cast.

Great job, you two! I hope this is the start of a profitable future for you both.

D'awww you guys. I'm in bed with a horrible viral thingy and feeling miserable. This has really cheered me up (Rosie is me :)). So thanks Phishface and everyone, you're lovely!

Steven is already semi-professional. He has a whole pretty expensive recording studio set up in his room at home, and he'd done a bit of VO before. He was the Innkeeper in Dust:An Elysian Tale, and he does videos on YouTube of his take on various characters in games etc. He's really very good!

I'm not pro at all, I did some drama classes in my twenties and I read stories to my kids, and that's it. Totally new to me, was great fun. If they do another contest, you should all enter (if geography allows) because you never know and it's such a fantastic experience. I'd love to do more voice stuff, I was going to see about getting an agent (Bioware typically employs people through agencies in the UK), and then I found out I was pregnant and had my little boy instead. He's a few months old now, so I should probably see about getting started again, haha.

Anyway, cheers guys xx

Feel better, hun, and damn how cool is that! Now those conversations we had about voice talent are even more amusing :).

Wait, that was you?!  :o Ha, well good job! Hope you feel better soon. I wish I could do voice-acting, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Now I must ask you a mandatory question: Is it weird having conversations with yourself?
