I hang around Spoiler Scuttlebutt here on the Inquisition board.
Mass Effect IS however how I got into BioWare RPGs.

I played with DQers from OZland and NA, but always through an invite. We did have issues however. ME3MP was better in this regard...
I'm no programmer (and I realize ME3 and DAI are engines as different as the East and the West) but shouldn't comparing code from ME3MP and DAMP bear at least SOME fruit?

Only if you choose so,I guess.But,who would do that?
You can play private games with whoever you want,though there are no guarantees that you won't get a black screen.
It always boggled my mind,why you can play with no or little lag private games with people from the other side of the world,but it would sooner fall snow in hell than you could connect them through matchmaking.
What I am really afraid is that we will get the same matchmaking system for the ME:A and most people don't care about it,'cos my guess is that without more loud uproar in community Biower won't make any changes.
I made a while ago a thread in ME:A asking about region lock and some people went so far claiming there isn't region lock (in DAMP).
