Still, I agree it's a very good kit.
Also the build is pretty good, but if you're looking to really maximize your effectiveness I'd take rate of fire on rank 5 of HM. Also swap a cyclonic for a power amp of course, if you can manage to stay alive XD

I thought about the GT, but found that the Flamer range (15m at best) limited him. Hunter mode also boosts weapon damage but infiltrators still dominate as best weapons platforms.

TGI might be boring as hell and it doesn't deal as much damage as the GI/GT/DAI, but those kits all have slight disadvantages and at least require some knowledge of game mechanics (they're still all absurd though). The TGI can just go in and tank everything while doing tons of damage with no appreciable drawback. It's both the worst and best character in the game.

The Fury.
I love the fury. I got booted from a couple lobbies for having one though. Not sure what some people have against it.

Depends on the difficulty.
On Gold, a well played on host PD build Slayer is the most powerful kit in the game. While some can argue it doesn't have diversity, it really has the only thing you need - make enemies dead faster than anything else. Especially if you equip an Acolyte and Incendiary / Disruptor ammo. Maybe, just maybe the best played Talon Merc would have a chance, but still unlikely.
For Platinum, the TGI & GI are the best at disposing of absurdly buffed armor value enemies, although if on Glacier or White the GT, Vsent or Valkryie are right up there.
From a pure diversity point of view, the HE is pretty awesome. QME is awesome too, but I find the playstyle somewhat boring.
And kudos to all the posters chiming in re the HA, it is one of my favorite characters. A bit of a stretch to call it very diverse, but certainly satisfying to play.

Few mentions of the Batguard and BatSol. Surprisingly few of the kroguard though, color me surprised.
Imo the BatSol's ability to handle Phantoms so readily vaults it instantly toward the top, though obviously not above the QME for me.

I think I can handle Phantoms with my SmashLashDept and my Huntress better than I can with a BatSol (they REALLY seem to hate AF stank too).
SmashLashDept has 3 powers they hate...as he punishes her cheating ways.
Can't actually tell if they hate cloaked DC from my Huntress. Sounds like they're enjoying some auto-erotic asphyxiation...but different.
Best...hmm, probably the Valkyrie. She isn't broken like a few others. Can tank. Punishes anything foolish enough to get in her AF. 'Can't Touch This' dodge. Formidable in every sense of the word.
Plus - WATCH IT! when some scrub shoots her in the back. That just seals the deal for me.

Top kits are vorcha soldier, turian saboteur, salarian engie, drell adept, krogan adept, hs, he, cabal vanguard. And others.
If you're looking for overall most powerful character, I'd say TGI. Insane survivability and killing power. He's basically a noob-tube in character form.
Fastest at killing I'd say probably GI. I well played GI with a sniper rifle can clean up a map fast, especially with other players on the field.
Best for me personally is probably human engineer. I accidentally topscore with her all the time.
