My first playthrough was 170 hours (playing on casual), but there wasn't any DLC at that point, and I never set foot in the Hissing Wastes or Forbidden Oasis. My second playthrough was also 170 hours, but I cleared every area of the game and did every quest. These days, if I do every single quest and thoroughly explore every area and do all the DLC, it takes me about 160 hours. I now play on nightmare with Even Ground and Walk Softly turned on, but the Golden Nug means that I don't have to farm schematics anymore, so that's a huge time saver that simultaneously allows me to turn the difficulty way up and survive.

It took me around 60 hours to do everything, factor in all of the DLC's and it took over 70.

183 hours without DLCS, then 20 hours more doing Jaws of Hakkon quests, something like 15 more playing the Descent and the rest playing Tresspasser. Total of 227,13 hours according to the last save game

In the middle of Jaws of Hakkon my character was already level 27 and had reached 20 of inquisition perks (cap levels) ...

My first playthrough took 80 hours with all the sidequests + JoH + Trespasser completed.
Maybe I'm some kind of Flash superhero or something because if I'm not I don't understand

Some people explore more than others, and some do not consider their side quests complete unless they have found (and read) every Codex entry in a zone, looted every container, collected every shard, acquired every Bottle of Thedas, and listened to every ambient dialogue.
It's also important to remember that playing on harder difficulties takes more time than playing on lower difficulties. For example, it took me a solid hour and a half to get through In Your Heart Shall Burn because I was intentionally under-leveled and under-geared. I was trying to complete Trial of the Fool, so I was fighting 8th level Red Templars at 3rd/4th level in 100% found gear. It was excruciatingly slow, but I'm proud of the accomplishment.

Yeah, I know. I was only joking.
My first playthrough was on Hard difficulty so I know what you mean. In the middle of my playthrough I discovered the fade-touched silverite and well...you know, I had to play in Nightmare because it was too easy.
The fade-touched silverite is the key.

165 hours with all DLC, and a mostly completionist playthrough. Mostly meaning I didn't really go after EVERY single bit of collectible tosh (looking at you Tevinter Mosaics and that single bottle of Thedas left in the world) but having finished every single quest I had available, except pillaging the elven burial site at the Exalted Planes. I was too Dalish to do that.

Approximately 190-195 hours. This was before ANY DLC was released.
First playthru that will include the DLCs: 100 and still counting. I only got the Trespasser DLC Monday, and haven't reached a place to do the Descent.

Pt1 : 124 hours I think before DLC
Pt2 : 156 hours pre DLC
I have since got it down to about 80 hours for full pt's pre DLC but I have played this 5 times from start to finish and have 4 more partial pt's going.
My fastest was my nightmare run which was around 67 hours but I skipped A LOT of content. That pt is sub 80 hours with Tresspasser completed, but no JoH or Decsent. I just don't find Nightmare fun so I rush it to get through it. I do this for the trophy and also just for the experience.
I like to try games on all difficulties and if I really enjoy the game I almost always see the hardest difficulty through to the end at least once. Sometimes the hardest setting becomes my favorite but usually not. I think normal is my favorite for DA:I unless I am playing a rogue then Hardcore. DA2 is normal for all classes and DA:O is normal for rogue and fighter but I bump it up when playing a mage because mage is pretty strong in DAO.

My first, pre-DLC playthrough took 108 hours, on Hard. My second, which I've just completed, took 125 hours, including all the DLC. I noticed that it took me about 10 fewer hours to get through the main campaign the second time around, which was a bit of a surprise. I'm fairly completionist and did all of the shards, side quests, mosaics, etc. both times. Funny how much difference familiarity with the zones can make.

Seriously. My first playthrough, it took me 6 hours to find the War Room. I'm not joking. My sense of direction works fine outside, but slap a roof over my head and I'm doomed. It makes no difference whether it's a game or if I'm trying to find a new route home from work in my car. smh

Main playthrough: 160 hours complete including all DLCs,
Secondary playthrough: 121 hours complete including all DLCs.
I have a habit of liberally referencing strategy guides in open world games and RPGs, plus naturally wanting to explore all nooks and crannies in the maps. Second playthrough I knew my own critical path, as it were so I skipped over some side quests that I just wasn't interested in. Plus I definitely didn't bother with much of the requisition missions on each of the maps on my second run.

I read all codexs, farmed all metals and herbs everywhere, went to every spot in the map, and talked to everyone. I don't like missing anything.
Spent lots of time, too, trying to find if what was beeping when pressing V and where it was (until one of the patches, there was no indication in the map telling you where the items where located and I spent a long time trying to find if there was something else around apart from those ladders
)

Only recently started playing multiplayer so let's say that of this amount, 100 can be removed for MP..
Another 90-ish are from a save I got from someone else.
The rest is all mine: first PT was the shortest though, cause after a while I got a bit annoyed with my character's voice and wanted to start over so I just rushed the story. 2nd and 3rd PT have been full completionist runs and with all DLCs completed.
So basically that makes about 200 hours more or less for each. Rogue's one is a bit faster than mage's one cause with rogue I can just kill everything super fast
while with rift mage it takes more.
So yeah you're on your way! Enjoy ![]()
