It seems to be the standard theory stated as fact method. Though they double downed on it.

Theory 1 stated as fact. MEA wil be set where ark or whatever transport method is done post ME3 endings and a keep system will be used to determine choices for your game. With some quasi plausible excuse for why everyone isn't synthetic like they shutdown their local relay.

Theory 2 stated as fact. The reason people oppose post ending launches to Andromeda is they hate the endings.

Personally I think theory 1 is unlikely though it's a option.

Theory 2. From my experience most people having issues with a post 3 ending launch to andromeda is not because they hated the endings buy because they don't feel their choice would be truly respected if this happens.

You really have no idea what I'm saying, do you? Let me repeat it.

Regardless of when the game takes place, regardless of when the expedition from the Milky Way arrives to Andromeda, said expedition will in all likelihood depart the Milky Way before the ending of ME3.

It has nothing to do with liking the endings. For the expedition to leave after they would have to choose a canon, which they already said they wouldn't do.

Alright peeps. Thanks for all the info and feedback. I understand the reasons why this would be impossible considering the direction in which BioWare wishes to go. Oh well... It's not like that'll stop me from playing the game.
