Being antagonistic with Solas, the two hating each other, but basically being civil VS the two hating each other and the inquisitor punching him? Inquisitive minds want to know! ![]()
In Trespasser is there a difference between...

I doubt there is a difference for THAT, but I think you can get a special scene if you never let him finish talking or something where you get a super quick version of the final scene of the dlc.

If you never asked Solas anything about himself, never used the investigate option and punched him, you get the above vid ending. If you hated each other, but still talked to him sometimes, you can attack him, but you get the long version.

You can actually try and attack him even with really high approval. Like with an inquisitor he is neutral or cold towards he uses the anchor to disable you, but for a high approval inquisitor he goes on to say "I understand your anger. In your position I would share it". I did it with my inquisitor because I felt so betrayed and super emotional about it. Then went on to promise to redeem him. All the feels!

I never got that and my Trevelyan was his best friend. I wonder what went wrong?

^ Yeah, I think I might like to try that next time, even though I have high approval/respect from Solas. I'd imagine that my guy would just be so pissed (and in constant pain from the Anchor) that he might just lose it and lunge at him. (Oh noes, Lunge and Slash causes CTD!)

I considered taking the attack option but then thought about the fact that I had just seen him turn that qunari to stone with a thought and decided it might be expedient to question him instead. Plus I was rather hoping he might be able to help me with the anchor, so attacking him wasn't he best way of asking for help. What I really missed was being able to chew him out like I wanted to. In real life I am not a physically violent person but am reliably informed that I'm really scary when I'm angry.

I love the angry option as a romanced elf. She gives him heck for thinking she would act like a typical Dalish and he can't even say anything in reply to her comment. Feels good to yell at him.
