Some things on EAs side have no excuses though. You may be right, below poster, I had a fear of Mass Effect 2 being tied to a different account but was put at ease by peoples experiences of Dragon Age. May not have always been like this though.

I don't understand why people seem to think it's Bioware or EAs fault that they have personas on two different EA accounts. It is you that created these accounts and you needed to enter the email address to get these personas tied to the account. You should be glad it is difficult to get things moved between accounts or else you would be in danger of losing things you may have paid for.
you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

Post in the thread that horseman mentioned. It might take a few hours (or even overnight) but they will link your XBL gamertag to your main EA account. Your best bet is to use this account as your main account.
EDIT: It works, promise. I couldn't get through with EA's chat either but while I was waiting a mod PMed me and let me know that my gamertag had been associated with my main EA account. So try that out.
Thanks to Wrexing for posting the link in another forum; that's how I found it.

Like I said in my post I was editing when you quoted me, account things may have changed in the games over time. But you had chance to look at things tied to your main EA account, and alter things around, before entering the code(s). There was a good chance they would expire after being used once if possibly every other modern day codes do for games. I am sympathetic, but you must accept some responsibility and not just place blame on the companies. Cutting down on the asterixes may help too.
It is probably better for you that EA do things this way. Codes like this are tied to your EA account, not gamertag, so could be used by multiple gamertags. handy if you share a 360 or lose your gamertag for whatever reason.

I have more knowledge then you realise. I myself have had stuff on two different EA accounts but I knew what was on each profiles. Just took some manual work on my accounts, one or two emails and some tweaking in 2142. I guess I have more patience than others.

See, what you dont understand is, I have an EA account with email X. My bioware account, the one im posting with, is also under email X. This bioware account has all my dragon age dlc, + mass effect terminus, CE, blood dragon, etc. I can play all my dragon age dlc, ALSO on my EA account, just fine. And yet, my gamertag DOES NOT APPEAR on my bioware profile, so it isnt connected. There's no responsibility to accept: The accounts are connected, my codes have been redeemed, my gamertag is correct, there is nothing I have done wrong, only EA with all this bull****

thats very interesting, considering after activating cerberus on bioware's site, if you try it again on the actual game, a nice little THIS CODE HAS ALREADY BEEN USED screen smiles at you.

just found this little gem under more info in registered games: To access your content on the Xbox 360, please ensure you activate Cerberus in-game using the same account you used while redeeming this code on the social website. Once you have done this, your content will be available for download from Xbox LIVE via the in-game store.

I think "activate" in this case is just meant to be read as "log in" and not redeem code, i.e. log in using the same EA account as you used to redeem the code.
How you are able to access the Dragon Age dlc but not the Mass Effect 2 dlc I cannot understand. That is really weird unless you play Dragon Age on pc? I hope you can find a solution.

Ok, I've tried this before, still having problems. This EA/Bioware account thing was set up to fail- I have loads of DA:O and Spore content on Bioware and EA accounts respectively and can see them fine (probably because they're PC) but my ME2 content (including three armors and two weapons) is all unaccessable because the account is somehow somewhere else. It's using the same email address, but it is separate...
I'm confused. By chance, is there any official source we can go to with questions? I'm aware that EA's customer support only pretends to exist, but it seems like Bioware would have someone to go to, maybe even a solution.
