Not if you're strong! But apparently it has reverse physics anyway, since its new upgrade actually pulls things in, presumably weapon included. If you want to talk about abilities that don't make sense, I present Hook and Tackle and Fallback Plan.

H&T makes sense because if it's strongly set enough you can yank yourself instead of yanking them! Also secret rogue techniques that differentiate them from warriors!
Fallback plan makes sense because it's...um...Because rogues are such good fighters they can defy physics and be in more than 1 place at a time! As we can see from hidden blades+no witnesses!
See? totally logical!

Not only can they be in 2 places at once, but they can also miraculously heal injuries when they fall back! Because they feel safer. What about Walking Fortress. Why can't I become temporarily invulnerable by being really bloody determined? That's not fair! And Line In The Sand. Did I miss something about Champions secretly being spirit-warriors or something?

Leeching poison makes sense because rogues are secretly venomancers!

See? It all makes sense! And warriors can channel he-man which explains everything! :D

Imma go with magic.  Sure Rogues and Warriors say they don't have magic, but deep down, they are using magic.
