Just bought a PS4 recently and I bought the various DLC today, but im looking at around 72 hours for each major DLC, and 43 hours for the Spoils DLC, the hell is going on? On 360 all downloads took, at most, up to an hour, with most averaging 30 minutes, so whats the deal with this?

Is this the norm for Sony? Because if so, colour me seriously unimpressed.

That is most definitely not the norm.  The major dlc downloaded in an hour or so for me and the spoils packs were all done in less than half an hour.  It's possibly overloaded servers or something wrong with your internet connection.

Jaws of Hakkon just suddenly downloaded, after getting a message saying something like, "DNS, cannot download", and the others are a few short hours from downloading fully.

In short, I have no bloody idea whats going on.

Restart your system. It seems to help sometimes.

Edit: actually this may be way too late. Lol

Exceedingly slow download speeds are the norm for a ps4, just do a search and you'll see, most of the answers are to simply go to rest mode, it actually does download faster in rest mode, but i find that a cheap fix (off topic uncharted did not age well )  Silly little games i'll use the ps4 major releases i'll stick with the xbox1

My experience has been that the PS4 initially tells you the download will take forever and a day (I think it told me 5 hrs for the Descent), but then it suddenly speeds up. The major SP story DLCs all took me about an hour download, as others have pointed out. It was only the initial time estimates that were wonky. Hope you can work this out! :)

Both my PS4 and Xbox One take forever to download shite. Could be my internet, though.

Damn thats slow, set your dns? I think to googles, theres a vid on youtube on how to boost speed. My internets crap but big dlc like trespasser take an hour, reason i got rid of xbox was install times, ps4 has been better by miles in that regard
