Seriously, does anybody ever want microtransactions?
I hold that the answer to that question is no. No, nobody wants them in MEA.
On this, however, we're guaranteed that they won't listen to us.
Clearly people do want them, clearly there are a large number of people who love Microtransactions, who love new outfits, who love new weapons and are willing to pay for them. The evidence for this is, they keep selling really well. These little Transactions make the companies a nice bit of money and if no one liked them, they wouldn't sell. This is why I get tired of people complaining, because they wouldn't make them if people didn't buy them. For example I don't buy cheats, I find them to be a terrible practice so I don't pay for them, and yet, they sell well enough to be a viable long term practice, despite how loudly a minority scream about it. This tells me, despite the loud minority giving a different impression, I am not the majority in this view. ((should be noted the above I am talking across the industry in general not Bioware specifically. Bioware do not to use the pay to cheat method, and even seem to have moved away from the outfit DLC somewhat))
On the other hand as others have said I do not expect Bioware will deviate from their by now established pattern, Microtransactions being Multiplayer only and very optional.
