And as a mage player I would rather turn into an abomination than to make Cassandra suffer in agony

The (bleep) is the matter with Bioware for even suggesting this concept? Such suffering.
My eyes, my eyes! Can someone please make me Tranquil?

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 'kay?
Yes, but she does get some really kick ass armour when she goes questing with you. Plus she still gets time off in the mountains with her new seekers.
I have to admit, however, that I'm sure Cassandra is much more content post Inquisition if she is a free agent rather than Divine. Leave the wretched politics to people who seem to enjoy it like Leliana and Vivienne. Cassandra belongs out in the field.

Tranquility won't make you forget, Raijin.
The whole Divine dress is just awful.
Someone (I think Varric) makes a comment about how Leliana looks pregnant with that dress.
And boy is it true..! ![]()
Yeah, I don't get this thread.
That Inquisitor is horrendous, though.

Yeah, her unique armor is pretty sweet. Except for the helmet, of course.
Putting Cassandra in funny hats is half my motivation to make her Divine every time. (the other half is that she makes a great Divine, natch)
Anyway she only has to suffer through Justinia's second-hand ugly white mess until she gets her beautiful custom Divine armor commissioned.

There, much better.
I don't know what's worse, Cass in Divine clothes or that fugly a** hairstyle the IQ has. ![]()

my Inky has the same and he's rocking it paired with a nice, neatly kept, full beard.
I have to be the only one around here who likes the Chantry outfits ... I loooooove silly hats. I'd wear the Divine outfit in a heartbeat.

I really wish they put the effort in to turn this concept as well as Leliana's and Vivienne's into something actually in the game. It would have helped a lot.

A tranquil Raijin would be nice though ![]()

It doesn't make any logical sense whatsoever to give us these three candidates for Divine title. I could never truly understand it as apparently goes beyond the lore for Divine candidacy.
The one true person that I find to be the most fitting for such title is Mother Giselle. She is a Revered Mother. One step into becoming the Grand Cleric. IIRC all of the Grand Clerics had perish during the blast to which also killed the Divine at the beginning of the story. Wouldn't the Revered Mothers be next in line to take the final step of becoming Divine? Whatever happen to that idea? Did David Gaider forgot about that or did he purposely botched up the Dragon Age Lore?
Cassandra and Leliana are the Right/Left Hand of the Divine, and Vivienne???? What gives her the right to become the Divine? It is strictly forbidden under Chantry law (Well the south that is) for a woman with magical talents to become Divine. In fact they are not even allowed to become priests. It would further encourage the teachings of the Black Chantry.

I just want to further comment on that bolded part. When my mage Inquisitor asks Cassandra why she isn't a candidate too we get this response:
In regards to the first two lines,w ell. i wish they'd remain consistent *mutters*
But no, Vivienne is 100% fine to become Divine, even though in my playthrough where she did the Chantry is on the brink of falling to pieces again and she's ruling it with an iron fist and leashes. That's based on main game epilogue, haven't gotten to trespasser with that run, maybe she softens up but I don't know.

Well, Leliana don't look it better.

Not all, but everyone who had any real shot at succeeding Justinia i.e. the ones favored by her. Most of the remaining ones are probably either not interested or opposed to Justinia's attempts at peace and reforms. But, yes, I agree that of the people we meet, Mother Giselle is the only candidate who makes any sense ... especially when compared to Vivienne, a mage, and even moreso when being a mage is one reason that explicitly disqualifies the Inquisitor.
Unfortunately Mother Giselle is just a side character, if a relatively important one. I recall several people claiming the devs admitted that the Divine candidates were chosen purely for the sake of drama instead of any in-world laws or logic.
On topic: Cass should absolutely have that armor from her ending slide. I can see her bow to tradition to an extent, but wear a hideously impractical outfit at all times? No way.
Well, Leliana don't look it better.
I must disagree with you.
At least the armor she gets as divine is pretty sweet.
I prefer Cassandra in armour. She's a warrior Divine anyway.
Leliana looks the worst on those Divine robes. It's like her face was photoshopped onto the hat/cowl.
I don't know what's worse, Cass in Divine clothes or that fugly a** hairstyle the IQ has.
It's not a bad hairstyle, if the hair color is black or just darker really it looks more natural.
