Just wondering. During the spa day with Vivienne if Sera is involved she's running around like a twit and laughing while being chased by the workers.  At the end of the scene, the Inquisitor says something like "What happened?"  So was something supposed to have happened?  If so, what?

Also, how different is the scene if Sera wasn't there as in not recruited, kicked out, or maybe low approval?

When Quizzy went to frolic on the couch with cheese on his eyes there was nothing on the floor. It was pearly white and shiny. While frolicking he might hear giggles, panting and running footsteps. When he removes the cheese from his eyes the floor behind him is covered in ham and a stick with a banana nailed on it.

Put yourself in his shoes. You have a clean floor, you close your eyes and suddenly HAM EVERYWHERE! And a kinky banana stick. I think "What happened?" is an appropriate question.

Or maybe this is a cultural thing. Is there ham on your floor? You should pick it up. Ham belongs on plate and toast. :)

You get the scene if you have low approval with Sera (because she's still a little rascal) and I think if you kick her out? I think if you don't recruit her then nothing happens and Quizzy opens his eyes to pearly white floor once more.

Oh, OK. I'll have to look again at the scene. Didn't notice anything on the floor or anything

Spoiler

Here is a comparison shot :) With some artistic licenses. :3

(As in the white text and scribbles. I did not add the ham.)

It happens with high approval too. Didn't really appear funny to me though. Didn't even notice it the first time.

I got the same scene after I kicked her out. That could have been a bug though.

I kicked her out and got her running around in the background as well.

Did you miss all the hams? Because I'm pretty sure that everyone was hilariously running around with them and that there were hams all over the floor at the end (per the screenshot posted above).

This reminds me of how I had to tell my dad to shoot the targets right in front of him on the support platform (I think) JUST the other day when he was playing MGSV (I got him the PC version). He has a fairly large monitor, and the targets were smack-dab in front of him, yet he somehow managed to not see them.

I guess this is just one of those cases where you don't see what's right in front of you - like the hams. And because what happened was semi-funny, I might as well write up our paraphrased exchange. I'm just going to say that my dad's lucky that I have MGSV on the PS4 and was actually able to mostly guide him through a lot of stuff - lol.

MY HILARIOUS SIDE GIG AS DAD'S MGSV TARGET SPOTTER:

Me: "Shoot the targets right in front of you!"

Dad: "What targets?"

Me: "The targets right in front of you on that crane!"

Dad: Proceeds to turn Big Boss to the right to look for more targets while totally ignoring the targets that I just pointed out.

Me: "What - why are you turning to the right? Turn left - they were right in front of you!"

Dad: Turns Big Boss back to the left and still doesn't see the targets right in front of him.

Dad: "I don't see any targets."

Me: *thinks about facepalming right about then because the targets are in front him*

Me:  "The targets right there on the crane/tower thing - it's RIGHT there!!!!!"

Me: *physically points finger at the crane at monitor*

Dad: "Oh, those targets..."

Me: *flails around wildly like magikarp* (This did not happen but probably should have after the effort it took to get him to shoot the targets on the crane! :P )

I had a romance (married, actually) and still got a scene where she runs around like that. I thought it was funny...

Also, the scene DID happen post-marriage, when she was already Sera Lavellan.

(Yup. I like that name.)

It was funny.  Official

The note you can find afterwards relating to Sera's appearance (and the consequences) at some noble wedding was also amusing.

That reminds me of the one time I tried to teach my Dad to play Bioshock because he wanted to know what I was interested in.  The man couldn't figure out moving the two joysticks on the controller in different directions, let alone aim, there was much frustration and facepalming  ^_^

Don't worry. I borrowed my mom my copy of The Stolen Throne once. She read one page. One ****** page.

Then she didn't touch it again. I took the book back on my messy desk. It's messy, but if you're a book I like on my desk, you're not forgotten.

Pffft. It meant a lot to me. Never, EVER, share what you like with your parents. It leads to a lot of bollocks and nothing else. That's my Lessons Learned over the years.

Shows how observant I am - I didn't notice the ham, either. :P I just saw her being chased by the servants with brooms and cackling like a maniac.

My dad asked me to teach him to play Skyrim. He insisted it was a first person shooter after a few minutes because you have to move with one joystick and look around with another. I told him it's not a FPS unless he specializes in archery, it's an RPG.

My dad is VERY old school and thinks RPGs are like Pokemon where you walk around the and screen follows you, or Diablo where you go where you click. He simply could not get that console games don't work that way, FPS or not.

It was amusing that he tried telling me I lied to him and I tried telling him that he was simply old and didn't get how games had evolved from the Atari and early Nintendo games.

Yes. And then something dumb happened instead. Remember that cheese wheel that doubles as a shield? And the many other references to cheese in the franchise?

Someone in BW has a stupid sense of humor and likes to shove it down the players' throats.

I actually didn't, I really explained that games had evolved and he hadn't caught up, and then he made the joke that he was getting old and I laughed and agreed.

It was just fun posting it that way.

I noticed the ham, and the banana stick. I just didn't get what was supposed to be funny about that. And I'm an Aqua Teen Hunger Force fan, so random stuff usually amuses me.

Here I was just left waiting for a punch line that never came.

Even if you NEVER recruit Sera, you still get that scene. So Sera appears regardless. Imagine if someone never did the quest to recruit Sera, and then got that scene, they'd even be more lost.
