Is there any mods to remove that completely moronic, idiotic, brain-dead (and a lot of other adjectives, most you shouldn't use in polite company) decision to limit 8 usable skills? That needs to be corrected. 12 would work, 16 would be better, 24 would be perfect (if not overkill). But 8 is way to few. Are there any mods to correct that problem? If not, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE WORK ON ONE!!!!!!!!!

I gave this game a 4 (out of 10), originally because of a lack of healing abilities (only potions are reliable/constantly usable), but now that I don't have a problem with that (Fade-Touched Obsidian+Fade-Touched Silverite+KE solves most of the problems with no healing spells), it still hasn't gone up, because of a lack of ability slots. And if they aren't on your hot bar, you can't use them, even if you have the ability.

What's next for Dragon Age 4? 125 abilities per class (or more) but only 2-4 ability slots, no healing whatsoever and enemies that can kill you instantly. Oh, wait. forget I said that, given what's been happening to DA2 and DA:I, some of you idiotic devs might actually think thats a good idea....

Unfortunately not. The game is designed with the limit in mind, likely to make abilities more manageable on consoles, but the publicly given excuse reason will be some BS along the lines of "we wanted you to have to make choices about your abilities" or some other nonsense.

From what I've read, consoles don't have that problem (I actually never played DA:O or DA2 on the console. And as far as that excuse, we're already limited by mana (yet another gripe I have... In prior games, Willpower increased mana/stamina pools, but not in this game. yu're limited to 100 mana, and that's it. So since we can't cast spell after spell after spell like we used to, what's the point of limiting our abilities? If I had to guess, they're trying to take the worst of both mana based systems and vanican based systems, to create a totally new bottom of the barrel crap system.

the origins days where the higher the resolution your screen is the more you can put skills into it

I have no problems with 8 skill slots so far. From what I can tell If character is controlled by AI they use abilities not assigned to the slots (if set to prefered in tactics screen)
