... of electric sheep, of course. But... I wan't to talk about how ... let me process for a moment... lets say... .... this games controls. And not being tight enough. Totally serious here. Because I was actually thinking about this while playing earlier today. Notice how things aren't tight enough? (Again, serious) And I'm not just talking auto aim. Talking magnetically getting pulled into hard cover all the time. And such. And seriously, who here ever uses the hard cover to other hard cover pre-scripted maneuver? (This really makes me curious about what this game's meta was during development for them to have got it so wrong what this game is about with this move)

And where could I be going with this? Well, I don't think BioWare can pull it off for the next Mass Effect. Wished I could be proven wrong, and would love to be proven wrong (always good to challenge the devs too with topics like. They like to call this constructive criticism). And I'm sure it would be an improvement from ME3. But they are still a Western developer, and story comes before gameplay. Sad but true. But... I can still dream of electric space magic mass effect sheep...

PS - I'm still keeping the click bate title.

I use the switch between cover function. :/ does that mean I'm bad?

I blame praetorians with their butt lasers and scions for that mainly.

I don't think the game play is particularly bad, it's one of the better ones out there. But yes auto aim is so annoying. No I don't want to snipe that swarmed right now!

I've been having trouble lately actually getting into cover and staying in cover.

It's a b**** trying to grab anything now. Maybe it's just my controller or something but I definitely notice the difference.

As long as you use it to make fat Turians roll from time to time, it's all good

Actually many features you describe were developped for the single player where they do nor harm (and in my opinion don't ruin the experience). Well I hope they think aout the multiplayer when they implement new movements next time

No, it means you're different. Different is good.

Oh, you're talking about the famous trying to get into cover but the game kicks you instantly out of it bug. It's perfect for Scion to the face blasts.

Oh, that's right. It actually is of benefit to those that can't dodge. Good thinking. Did you come up with this in a dream? ... But I still never use it even for them. And on other kits, only ever happens accidentally when I'm trying to dodge out of cover. Why I hate it and find no use for it on dodge capable kits. Since dodging and running is better.

But I then just wish this so called feature only worked on kits that can't dodge. Game has way to many things getting in the way of tighter gameplay. Like you run up to some pug to try and revive him, only to realize it's a big mistake. But instead of running away, you're locked in teabag mode. ... Hopefully I can get that rocket out in time... oh great, now someone else is teabagging us.

^ Sounds like you need a beer... then fly a plane un-inverted into a crab.

But thanks for sharing your dream.

I have often wished that one of the 2 buttons that go unused on my PS3 controller (L3/R3) could be used to turn-off/on the 'snap to cover' function... So, y'know, when you're sprinting to the LZ with seconds to go you can turn off the thing that always pops you into hard cover on that final corner...invariably leading to a sinful, unclean Partial Extraction. The other unused button could be used to enable-disable a scope on non-SR weapons.

That's what I've often wished. I will bring it up with the BIOWARE MESSIAH when she arrives to fix all the things.

Well the reason I upgraded Firefox was because I finally went ahead and did my free upgrade to Windows 10, which is where the age detection surely comes from.  I thought I'd turned off all of the inherent spyware but I must have missed a spot

I'm surprised one of my dream threads survived termination. So I must be dreaming again.

I've mentioned this before...yes, I have had / remember having 3 distinct dreams about mass effect.......specifically.....they were set in todays time...just regular old me...woke up 1 morning..goes outside to get the newspaper..I look down my street and I see 2 praetorians, 3 scions and a bunch of collector troopers..coming my way.... Have you ever had a dream that felt so real, that it actually caused a physical pain in your heart?..that happened the second I recognized what I was seeing..... I remember..running back into my house..and thinking....I know what they are...I am just me...no weapons, no armor, I'm not a soldier...I was terrified.....I went to go get my brother in his room so we could figure out where to hide...He wakes up..I tell him what is happening   ...this is me quoting what he told me in my dream... " What?...Oh, don't worry about it..Even though I am on shore leave..I brought my armor home with me.."         Me:???????????//       He reaches under his bed.........pulls out a suitcase........opens it and he had god damn Slayer armor and a talon.   :o

I still have dreams about ME sometimes. I just gave up on posting about them since they always get locked. My best one was still the one where I was playing ME Andromeda.

Skimming through this OP, I notice it's not a real dream thread. Sounds like maybe I was just messing with you guys. No wonder it still lives.

I just dreamed of zombies! That was fun.... I enjoyed it as usual! I always love dreaming of zombies. I take charge of the whole group and start shooting like a maniac lol. I remember waiting for the zombie dogs and wishing there were none because I felt sorry for them, because they're animals and I love animals!!

Exactly the same here.

I have the staying-in-cover problem off host sometimes. Usually in the same places, too.
