when I reach the sea monster (after paying the pirate 40,000 to go on the boat), captin says that we are being attacked (by a sea monster) but then nothing happenes.. I can't talk to anybody on the boat or move a screne.. any help?

I had the same issue once. I fear there is no other solution as to go back to an older savegame.

I guess that there is a script at the end of the captain's conversation that spawns the monster. It might be possible to run that script from the console but I can't be sure. I'll try to look at it tonight but hopefully one of the real builders will see this and figure it out.

Have you pulled everything out of your override folder first? That's usually the first thing I try.
You can try running this script from the console: mv_1514_departing_harbor
That's the one that should have fired once you leave the harbor and the captain shouts his warning. I'm not sure if it it's possible to just spawn the monster, the script is too complicated for my current level of toolset skills.

Yeah, thanks for the help, I fixed it by editing the appearance.2da with my override one and the monster showed up ![]()
