Agreed 1000000%. I want to hug Cole! And Cullen's hugs are so sweet, bug hugs don't need to be relegated to romances! I want to express my platonic bonds, too. Come on Bioware, it's time!

Why did this remind me of that moment where you could chill with your LI in ME2?

 

That said, I enjoyed bei​ng able to sit on the roof - if you've got high approval - with Sera. That was fun.

There should have been a prompt in every conversation like in ME2 with paragon and renegade interrupts. For every conversation you could either paragon hug them, or renegade punch them in the face. At any time. To any person or thing. In any scene. So you want to hug Corypheus or a dragon, or punch Celine in the face? Do it!

I'd like to able to have long extended conversations with companions that allow our character to talk about their own issues and history in a way that allows us to be just as emotive as our companions. 

 

That would be nice.

I'd love to hug companions or at least give them a pat on the arm or something.

 

Though 'patting' our companions did make me think of the Inquisitor patting Cullen on his head, saying "Good boy, that was a very misison. Well done!" Meanwhile, he just stands there, looking into the camera like he's on The Office.

I'd be willing to support a hug option if we also got a 'kick Solas in the balls' option for every interaction. Even when Solas isn't involved in the dialog. It would be like:

• Inquisitor: Now, Cullen, you wanted to discuss our troops?

I want to be able to blast my pack mules off the edge of a mountain at times just like you could in Skyrim. I swear they're trying to kill me by bumping into me and knocking me off the edge.
