More seriously, yes, more hugs for our companions would be a good thing. But please no face rubbing.
I'd be willing to support a hug option if we also got a 'kick Solas in the balls' option for every interaction. Even when Solas isn't involved in the dialog. It would be like:
- Cullen: Inquisitor, we need to discuss troop deployment.
- Inquisitor: One moment Cullen ... *kicks Solas in the balls*
- Inquisitor: Now, Cullen, you wanted to discuss our troops?
That's terrible! 
... And yet so damn funny. XD
