Who uses the passive rank 6a reduce the weight of said weapon by N%?

And also who uses the rank 4b passive to increase carry weight capacity and power damage, but primarily choosing the rank to increase carry weight ?

I can't think of a single time where I have chosen 6a but I have on the odd occasion chosen 4b for carry weight. One example is on my turian saboteur so my argus weighs less so I can use sabotage more often. The power bump is a nice bonus :)

I take power damage bonus and weight capacity on a lot of kits, but I'm also a scrub

I take shotgun weight on the Kroguard and all weapons on Volus

I take 4b on kits that do a significant amount of their damage with power damage or power combos, and I do so most of the time because of the extra weight capacity. The 10% power damage bonus isn't very significant, even on characters like the Huntress.

I personally consider the Saboteur a weapons class so I always take 4a on him.

I never ever used 6a and I don't know anybody who does, but I'm sure there are some hipsters here who do. Whatever your reasons, 10% weapon damage is more useful than the weight reduction it offers.

I would like to see 6a changed to "<x weapon class> mastery" where you gain a weight reduction, and a 10% damage bonus with the weapon class. Would make it a viable option for some characters, where right now, it is useless.

I use it on my Reegar kroguard, that's it. I find that a gain of 1 second on the Charge cooldown brings more than a gain of around 5% on the Reegar damage (barely noticeable with this weapon).

Reegar Kroguard again, and Claymore krosol. Globally, the 4b weight bonus can be interesting on krogans and batarians when they carry heavy weapons, as they get a nice weight capacity bonus and some of them may need to maintain good cooldowns (the krodept especially).

I use 4b on most of my caster classes, especially biotics (since I can slap Warp Ammo on them to make up for weapon damage).

I don't think I've taken 6a once, however.  Weapon damage on the final passive every time.

I was using kalence, trying to find a weapon where you could take 6a, choose a heavyweight weapon and make up for that 10% damage difference without affecting your cool down much.

I couldn't find one. The weapons are just too varied. :/ can't really compare them.

I use 4b on all adepts, engineers and vanguards - mostly for the power and force boost.

I never take 6a weight reduction. If I need 6a to keep my cooldowns to a decent value, I'll simply switch weapons. No weapon in the game is worth that much.

If / When I even decide to go ahead and put points into the 6th passive...It's because I am using a pure weapons builds so I will choose 6b for the weapons damage boost.

It depends entirely on what class I'm playing and what weapons I'm using.

The only 6a I take is on the Krogan Vanguard since I always melee and only use my shotgun for backup (usually the Disciple).  Otherwise it's gotta be weapon damage or nothing at all (3 in fitness).

The only kits I take to 6 in passives are the ones with quality passive trees (Turians, Drells, Infiltrators in general etc) and then the evo 6 choice is obvious.

On the weaker passive trees, evo 6 feels like a big waste of points. I think the only kit that falls into this category that I take to 6 is the BF3 soldier.

That's why the only kits where if I do go down the weapon weight evolution, the kits are all 6 glitched. So I naturally don't feel as bad choosing that evolution then.

Definitely haven't ever taken rank 6 weight reduction. Sometimes have taken rank 4 at least partly for the weight reduction.

There are a few instances where I will keep my weight as low as possible as I'm trying to get well over 200% CD.

Basically there's only three off the top of my head ever, and nor am I suggesting that my build is the best for the kits either.

Volus Vanguard. Need to BC as much as possible, even going so far as to take bonus charge.

Paladin, techburst all teh things!

Vanilla Human Adept, boom booms.

Only on quarians. How else am I going to get my hurricane to 200%? How?

Actually, because the bonuses are additive and simply subtract from the weapon's base encumbrance, the SMG bonus that female quarians get is sort of interesting if still not all that useful. Observe

Claymoar only= 60% PRS
Claymoar+Shuriken= 70% PRS
Claymoar+ULM Shuriken.= 88% PRS

Yes, female quarians are so adept at engineering that they can break the laws of physics to give the Shuriken negative mass and increase their PRS by equipping it. Now, this is pretty much useless on the infiltrator and of very little use on the engineer due to only a 10-28%  difference, but if you want to decrease your incinerate cooldown by .5 of a second rather than getting an extra 250 more weapon damage per shot, go crazy. Or, if you want something that is actually of occasional use as a weapon (unlike the Shuriken) you can also carry a standard weight Locust, Tempest or GPSMG as a backup at no added weight. If you use ULM, even a backup Hurrdurricane will give you +25% PRS.

This actually works sort of with some other kits too, the ones that reduce all weapon weights by 20% (humans, male quarians, volus). The Shuriken becomes weightless unmodified and adds 18% PRS when ULM is equipped, provided you don't break the weight glitch in the process.

The only time I can recall ever taking 6A in the passive tree is the Kroguard as Loufi mentioned. Hopefully Bioware creates more interesting evo choices in ME:A that make more of them viable and interesting.

I played with Stentron a few times and he made a build with 4b and 6a with his Justicar using Harrier x - 175% cd I think is acceptable for carrying a AR on a power class

Er, wait. And what kit and setup would that be on? In other words, this one here sounds suspicious...
