Two Tevinter Magisters, leading different cults (Crimson Acolytes and Venatori, respectively) at the same time, with the aim of restoring the Imperium to glory. Is there any evidence they crossed each others radar?

I know Maevaris Tilani cropped up in a War Table mission, but were the events of the 'Silent Grove' trilogy referenced anywhere else in DA: Inquisition?

From what i recall if Alistair is GW he mentions that he met his father in the fade and Varric mentions to Iron Bull that he met new Arishok.

As for them meeting or being connected there is nothing, so i doubt that.

World of Thedas Volume 2 makes no connection between them.
It does show some lack of originality.

Actually, I don't mind the similarity of background and aims they share, but I would have liked to see them make reference to each other - they are competing for followers amongst the same group of disgruntled/ambitious Magisters, after all. I could imagine something along these lines:

Titus on Coypheus - "A relic of the past. He failed spectacularly a millenium ago - I fear history is apt to repeat itself."

Corypheus on Titus - "An insolent young puppy. He wishes to shape dreams - I prefer to master reality."

Didn't the Crimson Acolytes get detsroyed in the comcs? Because in that case, I would imagine that the Venatori basically just scooped up the leftovers and grew in size after the death of Titus.

Not only did most of them die in the end, but wasn't the Archon that supported them also got assassinated/killed?

Might explain why the archon in DAI was atleast neutral to the Inquisition

I don't doubt that some survivors of Titus' group would have moved into the Venatori, but it would have been nice to have this acknowledged in-game, by someone like Eremond. There was also nothing in any codex or letter referring to the Crimson Acolytes and their plot. If you compare that lack of follow-up to that gifted the novels (Asunder and Masked Empire), it is remarkable how the events of the Silent Grove trilogy pass almost without notice, especially as Aurelian's plan was world-changing.

The Silent Grove trilogy was written around certain overrated character that can be dead, many of the characters he met are pretty relevant to Thedas and since he's the reason of most of them dying, writers would have to think about what is going on with them if they are alive, Gaider said the events wouldn't happen if your canon didn't permitted it, of course, they can disregard his word at any time, but then they would have to seek a plausible way to kill them and drop things on straight line again, since betrayal was the only reason for one of such characters dying, and a character that can have run away and wouldn't have a reason to go to Antiva without Alistair is the reason of another of them dying, they would have to scratch their minds badly to find an excuse that doesn't sound pathetic,

Like with Golems, Rock Wraiths and Werewolves, I think they thought that avoid the matter was the best answer for the plot this time, however, since DA4 will take place in the north, I don't think they can avoid this plotline any longer.

To my knowledge Varric met Sten regardless of Alistair Fate, so events from comics happened regardless of Alistair fate (somehow), considering how they handle choices in this series i wouldn't expect something different and any explanation whatsoever. You can leave Sten in Lothering to die in cage that he didn't want to leave (and that is leaving matter of his sword) and Sten still will end as Arishok, also you can kill kill Wynne and Asunder still will happen and Evangeline will be alive none of this is explained.

Odd, I didn't hear mention of Sten from Varric beside that someone replaced the former Arishok, neither I hear about Tallis from Varric if I didn't met her.

Could be possible that either the Qunari or the Black Divine eventually killed Titus and destroyed his cult, but, are the other two supposed to stab themselves or have a heart attack? It sounds stupid

He says to Iron Bull he met new Arishok (Sten) during party banter.

As i said they will doubtfuly explain it, it will be pretty much "They are dead and deal with it". I wouldn't expect something to vary if they bring it up.
