A strange throwing blade bug since the double xp weekend

Obviously I didnt gain 10 thousand willpower over the weekend lol. Not that I would complain about this bug, but would be really interested to know if anyone else also encountered this?
Edit: its pretty much clear now that this is due to the throwing blade skill upvrade lasting too long.

Are you taking the throwing blades upgrade? That was fixed so if consecutive blades hit the same target you get a boost to each hit.
On the topic of throwing blades, in the last week or so, maybe from this weekend, I have been point blank in front of an enemy, say an archer, and every blade will miss, passing by on the left and right of the enemy. The enemy tends to be isolated, no pots or mobs.

On the topic of throwing blades, in the last week or so, maybe from this weekend, I have been point blank in front of an enemy, say an archer, and every blade will miss, passing by on the left and right of the enemy. The enemy tends to be isolated, no pots or mobs.
The point blank TB missing is a persistent problem for me for quite some time (and yes strangely enough, happens a lot when used on a lone archer), which made me dropped TB on my SS.
And throwing blades upgrade fixed? Glad to know, maybe I will pick up the ability again.

Yes I do take the upgrade. Was thinking it might be due to the upgrade being glitched, but I cant imagine a temporary glitched damage buff would persist through different matches and across a time span of 2 days... I have promoted her twice since I first noticed the bug. Without the upgrade my damage returns to normal but once i take the upgrade then the damage just continue to increase from where I left it the last time, i.e. if I got to 6k before i promote, then once I pick that upgrade the damage increases again starting at 6k (and to 10k for example)
One round of throwing blades definitely kills pretty much anything so it cant be due to the skill keep hitting the same target.

It's definitely the upgrade. It's broken, in the best kind of way. More to that, the damage boost from multiple blades hitting a single target seems to last too long, meaning any attack after throwing blades+ (on SS or Hunter) has increased damage. High health target? Use hidden blades after throwing blades+ and watch the numbers fly.
The numbers are consistent for me, though. Haven't had every blade hit for 10k. More like the first hits for 3k and the last hits for 8-10k.

did it on nm dragon earlier took half its health in those two skills, that was after 20 games as the ss today

it seems to depend, I was doing over 40k per hit on the dragon but failing to kill some mooks when they only did a couple of hundred per hit /
going to guess its flaky servers not doing the math properly again

I was noticing a player doing about 6-7k throwing blades on a mook, than about 10k with hidden blades today and this was probably the reason why.

well yesterday I managed to pull of a 5 figure hit on a horror in wave 2 on nm/fc and that was the first blade out of the hand, the rest hit a clump behind it, 30 seconds later a complete animation worth left a wraith with a sliver of health left and 30 seconds after that I killed a pride demon with a 2 hits landing out of the deck, couple hours later when I hosted I started the game doing 1>2k per hit and finished round 4 doing 30k per blade, and the dragon went down seriously fast with 2 ss both using tb/hb and cos of flow of battle and a keeper that must of had the team upgrade I managed to chain tb>hb>tb>hb the final number I saw on the dragon was either 2 numbers chained together or massive overkill for something that was below a quarter health

Try roll to their back, use HB and then do TB. One shot shield bearers in NM every time.how much dmg does it do against shield bearers?
The existing HB benefit from throwing blade buff in exactly the same way as if you did HB after TB.

Feels like snapshotting from throwing blades buff is working on hidden and spinning as well.

Im not entirely sure on spinnig blades, but it definitely works on HB and auto attack. Its effectively a buffed version of mark of death and the damage calculation must be multiplicative, or else there is no way of explaining those 10k dmg auto attacks and the exponential damage scaling at all.Feels like snapshotting from throwing blades buff is working on hidden and spinning as well.
Roughly speaking when you are the only SS in the party your damage increases by about 10 times on average mobs in NM and the boss becomes a joke.
If you have 2 or 3 SS in your lobby then you start to 1 shot everything even on NM as long as everyone is wise with chaining throwing blades. Bosses? Oh you can insta kill these as well just like the average mobs. This is for a scrub like me with only 80 willpower.
A NM run would take about 10 minutes with multiple SS and it becomes so boring...
Mark or death and pincusion are just so much inferior in comparison.

It's actually just bugged. It applies a -50.00 modifier to the enemy's physical resistance (which is why you see increased dmg for basic attacks/other physical attacks) but looks like the debuffing (return to normal) part doesn't trigger.. Basically everyone applying phys. res. enemy debuffs would make all enemies extremely weak.
Very, very broken.

it only works some of the time, it depends who's hosting and what other effects are being used, the more effects there are the less often it works and if some noob uses warhorn or horn of valour then your throwing blades damage buff gets reset to zero pretty much every time they use it, so either the host's pc cant process the details fast enough, when I host I see the damage scale upwards constantly regardless of what else is used so long as i'm the only ss in the party or the party is only ss.
when someone else hosts it seems to scale upwards to a point and then reset frequently not do any extra damage or has a static high output range between 2k and 6k never moving up or down, I am guessing the problems are patch related and some people don't patch automatically which would explain why when I host hardly anyone joins but when I search there are loads of other games ongoing /
