I'm sorry if this has been asked. I wouldn't know how to search for it.

I bought this game for PS3 since I have no next-gen consoles and the saw the price drop in-store.

The game itself is good, but the constant lag, crashes, and loading failures are not.

Is it because I'm playing on the PS3? Would it be better on the PC?

Thank you.

The game is barely optimized and no longer supported on last-gen consoles.

The PC version is decent after numerous patches, but the horrible control schemes and some optimization problems remain. It is playable if your rig is good enough, but a controller is highly recommended.

It differs from person to person: I have no issue using a keyboard and a mouse.

Same here. Also, the game has been quite stable for the last few patches; they've really made an effort to work out most of the PC kinks as far as that's concerned.

If you don't mind spending money for the game again, and your rig can support it, I would really suggest getting it for PC. You will have access to all the DLC and mods. If you like the game, mods really help with longevity and replayability.

It seems to depend on previous gaming experience.

Anyway, the OP can just try both. A PS3 controller can be plugged into a PC, right?

It can, but I don't think it has native support. You might have to use 3rd party softwares for tricking the game into thinking that your PS3 controller is an Xbox controller

I wish there was a place to exchange my PS3 version with a PC version.

Hopefully my BF gets this job before his current one gets rid of him.

Money makes the world turn~

Thanks all! :3

Excalty. It is actually really easy. The hard part is on the human side to convert the commands for xbox controllers to the actual ps3 controller in ones hand :D

Since the game has no quick times events this should not be that hard anyway.

For DAI, I prefer it, actually.

I have had no issues on PC and it's been an easy game to control for me.

I don't play with a controller on PC, but I did download a program that lets me use a PlayStation controller for other games like Mortal Kombat. It was a small download and didn't require any messing around other than installation. Very easy to use.

If your looking to play it for the multiplayer then get the dai trial version on the PC, its free and gives you access to the multiplayer for the life of the game. If your crashing in single player the go for the game of the year edition as it will give you the best value if wanting all the dlc's.
