Come on. You know you'd want to.
I mean aren't there at least auditions for the semi-insignificant npc who picks up the Andromeda garbage? I'd audition for that.
Would you audition for an npc voice in the new game if you had the chance?

Sure
Not crazy at all, but the chances of getting a NPC role is pretty small because everyone loves using professional VAs and/or actors for every Tom, Dick and Harry.
They did this for DAI, and let 2 people get minor NPC roles in the game. Would be cool if they redid it for MEA!
That's awesome!
Who were the NPCs btw?
You can wish for whatever you want.
If they choose me, I would only voice a ruthless character, and voice all the renegade interrupts for all male characters. They don't have to pay me. Just give me a collectors edition copy of the game with the autograph of everyone who worked on the game. Excellent
No, I have no talent for such things. I'm definitely in favor of them broadening the VA talent pool, though.
Oddly enough, I was actually the voice of the screaming merc in ME2 who wouldn't shut up.
Spoiler
All the spoilers...wow.

nah. not crazy. sounds kool

Nice. How did you land that? lol
EDIT: How did your brother land that? Did you audition him? Funny stuff.
It's possible since Bioware did that with DAI. I wouldn't take apart it myself, I think last time it was restricted to certain countries only and regardless my english is not good enough.

Depends on how this voice actor strike goes, if SAG-AFTRA gets its way then it will be much harder for non-unionized voice actors to get work in the industry but if they all get sacked then there just might be an opening for you!
That's awesome!

I think one of them was the guy that get his face stomped in by Sera (I think his name is Harmond). No idea about the other NPC, though.
I would prefer to model for a character. If you're really interested in applying, I don't see why you shouldn't email them.
Depends on what your voice is like, I think.
You could share a sample audition using vocaroo, but in your place I don't think I'd trust people on the internet to be kind.
Still, it might be fun to hear what other posters sound like.
Rather they give real voice actors these roles even if they are minor characters.
Some poeple might say well its only a few lines mark meer had one line in baldurs gate and bioware kept bringing him back and then he got shep. Small role can lead to bigger roles.
So give the work to the voice actors.
Since the actors decide to strike soon, maybe it could happen. Maybe they could outsource the voice acting to India.

If small roles can lead to bigger roles then why not give the roles to new voice actors trying to get a start in the industry? It would give developers a chance to sample unknown talent and get some new blood in the industry instead of just relying on the same stagnant pool voice actors who get the lions share of the work and reinforcing the status quo? If they are good then it would open up new opportunities and bigger roles for the actor but if they are bad they don't really lose much if it is just a small role.

If a fan is a voice actor thats fine but if its just a normal fan then no.

Anyone can be a voice actor, you don't even need formal training (though it is helpful) all you need is a voice and a degree of acting talent, while I am sure some people might be more naturally talented than others in this regard, but with a bit of direction and coaching anyone can be a voice actor.
Nothing to stop you sending in an audition tape to BW op.

Ugh, curse these people for wanting to use professionals for their multi million dollar video game franchise.
