The only game on that list I'm interested in is ME:A. That leaves me really depressed about how the gaming is.

There are some other games I'm really looking forward to (Stellaris, HoI4, XCOM2, Torment for example), but still, it's depressing.

I'm pretty excited about where gaming is from that list. The new generation of consoles is finally getting some good games.

I mean let's look at street fighter v. Probably the weakest on the list for the ones i will get.(I'll totally pass on ghost recon and a couple I'm unfamiliar with). Is street fighter great? Nope but fighting games are a blast to play when a friend or two are hanging out. Great couch games.

Halo. Fantastic series.
Fallout. 3 and Vegas were both amazing open world games.

Well, except for Tom Clancy's 'The Division'. That one looks interesting. Maybe I'll look into the Fallout 4, as well.

I mean it's the game I'm most excited for for 2016 but I don't get the point of this category. A game isn't out yet and we're already giving it accolades?

As popular as ME is to it's fans (i.e. pretty loyal fanbase), it doesn't seem that popular on a wider scale.. It's successful, but still gets dwarfed by so much out there. So I don't think it'd win something like this.

 

Raises eyebrow? Really, I'd say in all honesty while I love Dragon Age, Mass Effect is Biowares biggest Franchise, this is reflected a lot in other areas. When Microsoft was showing their new Backwards compatability, it was using Mass Effect as a key show off, to say 'Look you'll be able to play This on your Xbox One' that doesn't speak to me of that at all. Mass Effect was and is huge, it's dwarfed by a few Franchises, Call of Duty, Modern Warfare, and Halo for one, but it's still one of the big franchises out there in computer games.

 

Through I do agree it won't win the award it's hard to be excited for a game that's pretty much twelve months away when you have a huge game like Fallout 4 which is three weeks away. Anyone voting for Andromeda over Fallout is... odd in my eyes.

Fair enough, and don't get me wrong if Andromeda was coming out in a few months period of Fallout 4 I'd be more excited for it, it's just the huge gap, that has me more excited for Fallout 4, it's almost here, I can play it in just a few weeks time...

No it wont.  It will be bug ridden for ​a small percentage of the population.  Most people wont encounter any bugs more significant than enemies caught on environment after being hit by a biotic effect so they trigger a permanent falling scream until you shoot them.

Yes fallout.

 

I've played every Bethesda game since launch since Daggerfall.  And I don;t expereince major bugs.  Occasional physics weirdness like kicking a glass at 1,000 miles an hour but nothing that breaks the game.  The vast vast majority of people are like this outside of the PS3 fiasco a couple years back.  Are there bugs, sure any game of this size with that many options will have bugs but most are totally inconsequential no worse than.
