Wouldn't it help to actually play the game before making a "Can ME:A learn from <Insert game here>" thread? That way you can give some information for people to discuss or maybe even get people curious enough to try it?

Probably, but any information on whether or not the game is worth getting would be kind of useless if you already have it. Still trying to figure out whether or not it is worth a look myself.

If you weren't trolling (but you are), I would have said to check the Steam page where the game was listed as having mixed reviews earlier today, which would have answered your (totally trolling) "question."

That is funny I seem to be getting mixed messages here, whenever you point out the user review scores for games like Inquisition or Dragon Age 2 there seems to be an overwhelming number of people on these forums that tell you that "user reviews suck" and that "you can't trust user reviews"
You must have a very broad definition of trolling if you consider asking what one game can learn from another trolling.

I was looking forward to it but when I realized it was all fetch quests that made DAI's fetch quest seem amazing in comparison I ran for the exit.

Sooooooo no good then? It honestly doesn't look great but then we have been starved for a good D&D game for so long.

From what I heard, it dissipated my hopes that they got the "good" DAO team. It seems more simplfied than D&D and even DAI. They said there were Bioware veterans, but I don't know which ones. Not Brent Knowles afaik.
edit: My bad. It actually appears he consulted with some of it. Doesn't sound like he worked on it, but he is encouraging people to play.

So...
Shall I make the "What can BioWare and ME:A learn from Fallout 4?" thread now or do we want to wait until it's actually out?

I think this is more apt, since (like I found out above) Brent Knowles had something to do with Sword Coast. He designed that basic tactical and party based feel of BG2/Kotor/DAO. DA2 retained some of it, but he left because he thought they were making it too action based. And they did, even further with DAI.
I don't know what they could learn from Fallout 4, other than giving Courtenay Taylor a starring role if they were privileged to get her again. ![]()

I'm more poking fun at the fact that the OP has now created 2 threads asking this question and I am assuming will be making more in the future =P
The other one was about Battlefront, which has even less in common with ME:A than Fallout does.

Oh would you? I was just about to do it myself but if you want to do it yourself it would be much appreciated.

Too bad you don't post anymore on DAMP forum.

Ah... I get ya.
Well, I probably could see them learning from Battlefront as well.
I mean, if it's anything like the old Battlefront or like Battlefield. That'd be pretty badass for ME.

Sadly I couldn't play more than like 2-3 games without having issues, and couldn't play with my at the time GF at all so I kind of just ditched it.
I think I actually post on the WoW forums more than anything else these days. My BSN posting has largely slowed down ever since Off Topic was killed.

Well the new Battlefront is like the old Battlefront.
Except all the badass is removed and replaced with cash milking and poorly balanced game modes =P

I can't judge it, because I don't play mobile games. Apparently it's an MMO, and all I'll say is I hope Bioware stops learning from them as it is.

I mentioned that back in the thread in the now defunct Off Topic section. Which would have been bumped had BioWare kept it alive.
