I've finished both ME2 and about to finish ME2 for the second time.

 

I heard that Omega and Leviathan are good standalone DLCs and that Citadel and Arrival are more worth getting.

 

Can I play those even after I've finished the game?

Arrival can be completed after the suicide mission. Even all the other ME2 dlc's can be completed after the suicide mission.

 

All ME3 dlc's have to be completed before Chronos

I'd argue that Arrival should be played after the SM.

As for which DLCs to get, it depends on what you want from a DLC. Besides the missions in them. From Ashes gives you a new squadmate and, of course, lots of insight into protheans. Leviathan gives you a bunch of background info on the history of the ME universe. Citadel is packed with character stuff for the NPCs. Omega has.... more Aria, I guess.

From Ashes also has a fairly weak mission, IMO.

What did you get? I am just finishing up ME3 and played all the DLC

 

In my mind they are all worth it. Omega was good, Leviathan was great and the ending was amazing (I have a save there I will keep forever), and the Citadel is fun with a major twist and some really hard fights, plus with one easy mod you can use it for your ending. From Ashes is completely necessary, take him to the Asari world when you go there.

I wasn't think on taking from Ashes...
Issue is that I can't buy them all. I'm from Brazil and the exchange rate is currently devastating. So I was thinking on 2. Is Ashes that important? Can't I see that mission in YT?

Ya, you can probably youtube that mission with Javik in the title and see all the interactions, it's quite illuminating.

 

Two...Leviathan and Citadel, if only because I think both of those are necessary for the Citadel Ending Mod, but they are also probably the two best.

I might get Leviathan and Omega too as I found found that my Brazilian PSN is working and I can pay half the value of the exchange rate

If you have enough for 2 dlc's, I would suggest getting Leviathan and From Ashes. Both are $10 each whereas Omega and Citadel are $15 each

 

From Ashes adds another character to your squad. The earlier the dlc is comp[leted in the game, the more he has to offer when taken on missions. I suggest taking him to Thessia.

 

Leviathan deals with the how the reapers came to be and why they're doing what they're doing

Well, I can say that I just finished the Citadel DLC for the first time, and ya, terrific, I would buy more content that saw me and the crew just hanging out, it was really great, and I replayed the part 3 times. My only complaint is that there is a scene with Traynor that is sexier with a male shep than the same scene with a femaile shep love interest; based upon my youtube look at the male shep party.

Speaking of DLC. I've been thinking on and off about transitioning to PS3 to play Mass Effect, but I don't want to lose the N7 weapons from the CE. Does anyone know when the codes in the PS3 CE for 3 expire? Do they expire?

 

I wouldn't be able to get back the N7 Warfare Gear, but I think that's a loss I can take. But I wouldn't wanna lose the other N7 weapons.

I just started Citadel DLC and the beginning is annoying! They give you a shitty pistol and no medi gel and put you in endless fight with few save points. I'm quite angry at that. I can't believe Shepard walks without its medigels. I thought they were from the onmi tool.

Hottub, it's just more playful and sexy in a fun way, than the female shep scene, imo

What level are you? Remember, when this came out, many people were level 50-60. It's much easier if it's one of the last things you do. Don't worry, it's all worth it in the end.
