The reason to buy Recruit packs until you max your Commons, and Veteran packs until you max your Uncommons, is so that those guns get removed from the pool. That way when you do buy Spectre packs or above you actually get Rares or Ultra Rares.

That said it can be worth it to buy a few 99,000 packs early to hope for a UR gun or character, some of which are very powerful.

That is exactly my point. If OP was taken to Platinum, there would be no opportunity for them to learn, just opportunity to witness the AHF in action..... from afar.

Not true.  You could learn a lot in Spectator Mode, and still get paid a handsome amount of credits in the end.  Maybe he'll slowly figure it out.  Still, it's a better alternative than slogging through bronze/silver games and learning at the same rate... but for a fraction of the credits... and a severe hamper to a manifest.  The manifest is gigantic nowadays.

 

Just playing plat for a little bit will get him more credits for better weapons, and more importantly...  Gear.  Gear is the ultimate equalizer in this game.  Then he can thank the "group" that was helping him out, and go scrub it up somewhere with some new toys.  Win Win.

Personally, I'd recommend PUG'ing almost exclusively if you want to get better (well at least for me it forced me to git gud). Not to mention the fact that PUGs are like a box of chocolates. You really never know what you will get which can lead to some hilarious experiences.

Ps . What was the dlc resolve- or was it intel inside, xxx outside ?

Don't listen to him, he's joking. A red Jugg spams siege pulse, just like a good one.

Phaeston was chosen based on your manifest, not a lot of good options (Though Mantis is a good option). Any Bronze level infantry will die to a single Siege Pulse, 2 for Silver. Heavy Melee is ONLY for healing your Shields. Turret will burn armour nicely. The incendiary ammo is there to help boss DPS, you do this by shooting them a few times when they have Armour (But not Shields or Barriers), then Siege Pulse them for a Fire Explosion, also works with the Turret's Flamethrower if you are quick, and other people's Tech powers.

Did you notice that Bwnci is refreshing his content?  I believe he's re-doing each character...starting with the vanilla humans.
He's now part of the Union for Gamers, and he has to get rid of the music that he didn't have rights to use.

Redoing everything or just mixing in another soundtrack? That can be a bummer of work (anybody that cut videos knows how much work it could be - even if u have a professional tool like adobe premiere happening to lie around). I noticed some of his builds were pre buff/nerf so one had to think- with a bit. On Monetization : The only detrimental thing is that publishers is payed by the CTR and total watch time , and that last one explains why we don't see chapter markers to jump within a video. So analog retro.

Isn't The Orchard a better place to monetize than U4G?

And btw, the engineer is not all bad indeed. I still don't have my drone maxed but he's cool. Although I don't use the drone all the time. Sometimes I keep going overload and incinerate.

Ok I see. I'm not playing in around 10 hours anyway, heading to work.

I found the Mantis more difficult to use than in SP. The enemies move much more and advance. They don't use too much cover. And you also get flanked often.

Besides a Mantis needs 2 shots to kill an enemy. Maybe a headshot could kill with 1 need we were facing collectors and I believe it was silver league, I couldn't land a headshot. Too much confusion during the battle lol

Yes, an ant that goes squish. And those shields are what he gets naturally. Not only that, but Hex Shield gets boosted by his Fitness, and is a deployable wall to stand behind since the Juggernaut cannot take cover. He really is an overpowered character (Right up to and including Gold, he isn't exactly what I would call a Platinum character though).

Second, you got into the afh chatroom, so you are at my disposal now You will get dragged throught plat matches, like it or not, for some quick starter creds and leveling.

He is also slow, can`t dodge, or take cover, and draws alot of aggro, cos he is slow.

He is a good character, when you learn how to deal with the slow, no dogde, no cover stuff.

on bronze and silver he is more or less unkilleable

random. iirc the gift packs give one ultra rare gun and one gold card character, a random one.
