Saw the video, something is differently there in that shot, that could be prothean.

Could be prothean...but could be something else. It's impossible to do anything other than guess from how little you can see in that still.

 

Perhaps the Protheans long ago somehow transported a portion of their population to Andromeda once they found out about the reapers (as it's stated somewhere, can't remember where, that the Protheans not only were close to making their own relays but found enough evidence to get an idea that something like the reapers would return at some point) and left the rest to try to defeat them.

I really hope there aren't Protheans in Mass Effect: Andromeda. I've had more than enough of them.

^ That's how I feel about the Forerunners from Halo. I liked it when they were mysterious and not around anymore, but then Halo 4 came along and ruined that. ME3 done the same with Javik, IMO.

Could be a stand in seeing that it's just a concept video. I hope it's a Prothean. If it is I hope it's Javik

Depending on whether or not their awakened state is considered canon and whether or not they survive, I suppose there is a chance for some awakened Collectors to appear.

 

Could be interesting to see a group of whatever size onboard the ship as wierd, unintelligible-in-their-native-requiring-special-communication allies with a limited hive mind aaaaand I've just made myself want an awakened Collector as a squadmate.

Halo 5: Guardians seems to have gone back to how the Flood Trilogy did with the only Forerunners being constructs, like the Guardians and the Warden Eternal.

Can't be Javik since Javik can die in Mass Effect 3.

Maybe that's how we get a Black Ark if Bioware goes the Black Ark Theory route.

Well, there are Protheans and there are "Protheans". As Javik explained, all the cultures that got integrated into Prothean Society eventually got called Protheans as well.

One Prothean was more than enough. Javik got extremely one dimensional and they beat airlock, primitive and "in my cycle" to death.
