My theory is we are/near tevinter and every companion is new and the duncan role is played by cullen or someone else from dai
If harding or anyone from inquisition is in game they are advisors
Inquisitor takes the role of hawke and is in game/can be modified but not in combat
We get mabari based on their late introduction into the inquision
The power we get includes the ability to counteract the solas stone spell. I got a lion, witch and wardrobe vibe from that and i bet we unlock/unfreeze someone in that frozen state

Tevinter is highly likely. Everything else, not enough information from BioWare to make anything more than guesses.

No Quis was trying to stab a spider on the table. But yes looks like we will be on tevinters turf next.

As long it's not: "...especially not the one IN your back"
(which would fit the Orlesian game quite well!)
Still, I think/hope that we are - finally! - going to Tevinter (in a game that blows every DA game before out of the water (even DA:O - as it's IMHO still the best DA game...Inquisition might not be as bad as DA2, but it's not as stellar as DA:O))

Perhaps it should be "daggers", since you are supposed to dual-wield.

Even before that ending, creative director Mike Laidlaw said, "I would say we've covered most of the South, I think we've covered the Chantry enough. But I do want to look more toward the North, I want to see what happens to nations like Tevinter, and Rivain, and do more with the Qunari."
So far, that's the only statement we've had from the dev team on DA4 ![]()

Can't we just lop the arm off of some unsuspecting git and sew it onto the inquisitor and use magic to power it? It was done in DA2 with Mama Hawke's head, after all.
But, then again, what if the hand belonged to some evil person and the hand turned evil on you like Ash's hand in Evil Dead. Then you would have to recut the thing off and kill it. I might be overthinking this, though.

Yeah, what could possibly go wrong with that idea? Although you might be on the right track with the Ash analogy. Perhaps what Inqy needs to take on Solas is a chainsaw and a boomstick.
