What are you guys hoping for in MEAMP? There are too many single player discussions and not enough MP talk !
Sooooo Multiplayer?

Story co-op.
Could be fun but ME usually has too much down time for story co-op, unless we can replay missions or something but didn't they talk about some kind of multiplayer mode where it's not just a survival? Or am I completely mitaken?

I still love pretty much everything about the ME3 multiplayer. Combat wise, I kind of just want a more advanced version of that. Better graphics, new character builds and skills, and a lot fewer bugs, and I'm happy.

Story co-op.
I'm trying to think how that could best work, and I keep thinking about Portal 2 and the way it's levels were laid out. Once you go through a certain set of challenges, you can get back to them the quick way.
Still seems tricky, like they'd need something really unconventional to implement it without making it with either really repetitive or really shallow story wise.

MP like they did with ME3.. CO-OP teams against all the baddies lol its simple but fun.. maybe add in sides kind of like TLOUMP (fireflies vs hunters) or even in game co-op as an option..There are so many places Bioware could go with MP!

Didn't TOR's HEROICs try it? I just want a story heavy game I can play with someone, with co-op dialogue sequences. That could be a mode for the main story or a side thing.
Still seems tricky
Where's the fun in asking for something simple?

PvE, of course, and PvP(with one faction of Milky Wayans(that's my term, don't steal it) and one faction of Andromedans).

Like it the way it is, but vehicles could be great too.

More of the same, only better.
Maybe larger maps, PVZ: Garden Warfare style.
Oh, and more customization, please. Meaningful too, like build your own weapon or armor pieces with stats and such; something accessible but that at the same time can make every kit more unique according to the player inclination.
I think that this would make things both more dynamic and unpredictable, and also prevent everyone from using the same invincible cheese builds.
(Yes, I only played invincible cheese-builds. Shut up)
Oh, and I want a map with a box of shame, but with a big sign above it actually calling it THE BOX OF SHAME. (And if you use it you spend the next online hour with something like the MGS chicken hat, just so everyone else will know)
Ah, and the GIGAVORCHA.

That would do nothing to prevent people from always playing the strongest builds. It would just take people 2 minutes longer to make their builds.

Of course, but I'm guessing it would prevent them from playing the same 2 or 3 exact same kits. I'm not against overpowered kits, just would like to avoid lobbies with 4 harrier Tghosts or reegar Edibots.

That's why I only played around launch and a bit afterwards. No one gives as much of a **** about overpowered builds or e-peen. It's just about having fun and people still learning.. mixed with the time you play single player content.
I appreciate that MP players keep the games alive well after that, but it's not for me.

The only thing that will keep people from spamming the same OP builds is better balance. Adding more customization will have zero impact on that. It's not like a few added customization options would have made the sexbot less OP. It would have had the same options as every other class, making it a zero sum gain.

The best balance is player agreement. Where everyone decides not to play Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl, cuz it's a b*tch move.
It's a headache and a game of whack-of-mole otherwise, for developers.

When does that ever happen? You know what happened the last time I fired up Street Fighter III:3rd Strike? Everyone was playing Chun Li and Ken(the two WAY-top tier characters) despite me playing Necro and Remy(2 low-tier characters). Everyone knows who's top tier and who isn't, but they don't care.

Not what I had in mind; the right combination - or combinations - could maybe make other kits AS OP as Edibot, but with a playstyle that others players might prefer. Of course, there would have to be a hell of a lot of balancing, but let's put it like this:
Let's say there's an overpower cap of X. Edibot, as a starter kit, is pretty close from that cap from the get go, whereas let's say, random Quarian number 2 is as far as it gets in it's vanilla stage. However, with the right combination of guns/armor/etc, random Quarian number could actually achieve said OP-CAP, while the options to Edibot would only take her so far.

You needed to recruit some more to your cause. I don't see it happen in online much though, but community opinion sometimes gets around for some games.
If you can't beat them though, join them. :\

I loved the Multiplayer. I have over 3000hrs logged in ME3 but STILL don't have all of the "random" items maxed out..., bloody frustrating.
I would like to see much bigger maps, certainly a few bases where you can play cat and mouse without it being a rushfest and a blur to finish a Solo Gold mission.
It might take you 30 or 40 minutes, sniping your way around. I don't want this for ALL of the bases, still like the crazy rush when all hell breaks loose. What about a base that weapons wont work on and you have to "Grenade or Melee" EVERYTHING...., that would liven things up..., gee I miss my Krogan. Now I have to go and play and break some heads. ![]()
Cheers

All Grenading is irritating as hell. Forgot what games I've played something like that in. It had a lot of screen shake. ![]()

Keep it PVE please, so devs can create new content rather than having to constantly satisfy the balance/nerfthis/buffthat complaints that dominate PVP games post launch.
Other than that, some new objective modes, perhaps more teamwork related tasks or bigger bonuses for working as a team.assisting/supporting others etc to further encourage co-op play over lone wolfing.
Have to say I was pretty happy wirth ME3 MP overall. I've probably spent more time in that than any other MP game over the years, with the exception of TFC.

But then everyone plays Quarian #2 instead of the sexbot. Why is this not connecting for you?
