Sooo... I started playing Dragon Age II again and I already noticed at least two strange glitches I haven't had any problems with before  . 

First I'm missing textures so a lot of people are missing bodies, which (when it stops being funny) is not so nice. Second, the first dialogue in cut-scenes are missing, so I just get an option to randomly answer someone and then it jumps into the cut-scene, skipping over the beginning.  

 

I have read that my first problem is due to some performance issue, but I'm sure that my computer can handle DAII: 

GPU: GeForce GTX 960

CPU: Intel i5-4460 3.20GHz quad core

RAM: 8GB

The texture issues are because of DirectX 11 not working properly with the game. DirectX 9 easily fixes the texture issues but you get downgraded visuals.  If you want to keep DirectX 11 then whenever you see the texture issues, simply save and reload and it usually fixes it but temporarily however. Nvidia never bothered to make a fix for this sadly so we're stuck with it.

I found out that older version of video driver decreases the number of visual glitches. I am personally using 337 version of Nvidia driver whenever I want to play DA2.

Thanks for the replies! Ah, yea I knew about the DirectX solution, I was just hoping that I could avoid downgrading visuals   Maybe I will try finding an older version of the video driver and check that out, if the lower graphics bother me too much. Still didn't figure out the missing cutscene stuff, I did repair the game in Origin, and I haven't had any problem with it yet.. could be that it fixed it
