yesterday my friend pulled 27 lvl axe from chest in store
Since his first play he earned ~260k in gold( not sure about room chests but obviously not 1000 items from them)
And now I have a question how can progressive loot system work if u can get top tier weapon while not being in top loot score?
We play on ps4

My loot score is somewhere in the region of 18000

 

The highest bracket is 10000 ,  so I am 8000 above that.

 

I still get level 1 garbage.  I still see 4 or 5 chests in a row without a single purple of any kind.

 

What progressive loot system?

because the game gives you a couple of top tier items from the store to keep you interested and trying to get more, a friend of mine started last week and has a hakon great sword out of the store already (I don't currently have any hakons or lvl 27's) I've spent a lot of hours and completed thousands of games and yet his noob ass in inquisition armour is running about one shotting anything that doesn't get him first until he unlocked drakscale and got a couple of armour upgrades .....

 

he's still got weak defence but much higher damage output than he should have which makes him think he can do higher levels than he really should be trying to run though

I mean the crit chance of BA is amazing (+haft) and it has more dmg, but I always wanted to pair the +5 guard on hit of VA with the +3 guard on hit of the mageslayer shiled.

The bad part is I feel like my crit chance is still too low to equip it.

BTW thanks to the 3 guys that didn't kick me out even though I got stuck in the healing font room and couldn't fight the dragon because of the stupid glitch you're the best

I think there should be a way to trade items with other players, at least that way high level items never go to waste

As for the healing font room thing.  Just run into the door, you teleport through and can fight.

I have all of the 26's though but no 27s. 

 

I saw someone whose been playing a week with a level 27 and also a friend who hasn't even spent 1 mil gold yet get a level 27.... I however am in top tier and no level 27.

Stand alone.

 

Lefaey has it and doesn't have Master Stamina or all the 26's or 27's.

 

Only possible pre-req could be all the Hakkon's but I seriously doubt it given that it's a 25.  

 

It's just pure luck.

ok so I got brand two nights ago but bitter axe is way better,

 

actually its the best one hander I have and its been the best for about 2 months, the biggest problem is people not letting me last hit the mobs so they blow up and do 1000% damage to everything around them, I have numbers switched n (via options) for full party and I can see that the detonations do way more than the 356 damage of the axe regularly its topping 6k on peri and nm (I'm mid way through 60's across the board promotions wise) which does a decent chunk of change to everything around it (which is why wombo combo could be so good if anyone ever let me finish the damn thing GRRR)

It was the first blue 26 I got

 

Logical thinking though.

 

RNG is RNG.    

 

RNG did give me "arguably" best item in game so can't really complain lol.   It's just very strange as I didn't expect a 26 purple so be so elusive.

 

Got 80k saved at the moment.  Think I will spend in 100k or 200k blocks as I seem to get better stuff when I spend in blocks and don't leave the store.

You just have to roughly work it out

 

(based on new chests only)(old chests gave 5 items for 1200g)

 

4,000,000 gold --- divided by 2000g a chest ----- multiplied by 8 items

 

= 16000

 

I have played over 4200 games.  I was being conservative and guessing 1 items card per 2 games from treasure room chests (2100)

 

16000+2000

 

= 18000

 

It's not accurate but it should be close enough.

 

Regardless, it is higher than the 10000 cap Luke confirmed.
