I don't know if I'm the only weirdo who picks actors and actresses who remind me of Dragon Age characters, but it will be fun to cast Dragon Age characters as if we are making a movie, or making them more realistic.  It'll definitely be fun to see other interpretations.

 

Examples:

 

Jennifer Connelly as Morrigan.

Lupita Nyong'o as Vivienne:

 

Who would you choose?

Stana Katic as the Inquisitor and Christian Bale as Cullen.

And yes, I know he's not blond, but Morgan Freeman was neither Irish nor a redhead when he played Red in Shawshank Redemption. He's got the voice for it thought.

Zachary Quinto as Dorian. He kind of looks the part but I'd pick him because he'd do a gay part with sensitivity.

By the way, Ariella, your Inquisitor casting is gorgeous.  And I can see Cullen in your choice.

This is a list of who I'd love to see cast, who I think looks most like this character, and who I think can play that character -- i.e. they don't necessarily have to fulfill the physical requirements to a tee, since a major studio would probably slap a bit of that old film magic on and transform them to look like whatever. They just have to have a particular look about them, and that'd be good enough for me.  Otherwise, it'd obviously be a pain to try and find someone for... say, The Iron Bull .

While I adore Lupita N'yongo -- especially as Vivienne -- I also think Danai Gurira would hit it out of the park as well. She has the grace and elegance, the majesty, and lbr, after her turn as Michonne in The Walking Dead who wouldn't be intimidated by her as well?

She doesn't look like in-game Sera, but could she could easily play Sera. Her face is extremely expressive. I think she has the whole freewheeling, rock-n-roll, I-don't-care-what-you-think-I-just-want-to-have-fun thing down pat tbh.

Sendhil Ramamurthy as Dorian

While I adore Rafa Rech and consider his mustache to be rather fantastic, it's only ever been Sendhil Ramamurthy for Dorian for me.  He may not sport the proper 'stache, but he's got everything else: the charm, the swarthy, chiseled complexion and L'Oreal-worthy hair. As an actor, I think he can pull off the dashing, earnest redeemer with hidden depths really well. Slap a beauty mark and mustache on him and you're good to go.   

 

 

Antje Traue as Cassandra

I know it's a bit of a cop-out to take a still of Traue from Man of Steel but she's got that really sharp, angular look to her that suits Cassandra so well. And those eyes. Them cheekbones.
