So I finally have my PC. Very powerful, in fact. I have the "retail" copy of the Mass Effect Trilogy for PC. I put disk 1 for ME1 in the PC. When I used the activation code, all three games were available for installation on my Origin Account. It's awesome, and as we speak, I am installing ME2 without the disk(s), but how is this possible?

yeah I have the retail copy of the trilogy box set, however, after installing ME1, Origin allowed me to download ME2 digitally. As for ME3, I'm not going to install the copy that came with the set. I am downloading the digital copy of the N7 Collector's Edition, which I installed 3 years ago. I had the retail copy of that too. I can now reinstall it digitally from my Origin game library.
