I'm hoping that Andromeda keeps the leveled weapons and when DA4 eventually crawls from the depths of hell that it follows suit with it, or use the same algorithm that many other games have that makes it so you receive level appropriate loot or better yet loot that levels with your character similar to heirloom weapons in WoW.
The best portion of the Single Player was crafting for me, farming was not fun (but could be averted given the right amount of gold) but being able to build a weapon that was uniquely mine was awesome. I would have actually paid for MP DLC that let me customize a weapon completely, and yes I know that's the definition of Pay to Win but I have so many materials that are an absolute waste of time for the following reasons: Armor doesn't gain better statistics from materials; we can't build armor parts; the weapon parts in MP only level to three when there's currently four levels (ME3MP's parts tiered at 5, which I was hoping would carry over to DAI); Shields can't get new parts even though they're marked as being weapons; Most of the imported weapons don't have slots and should have had them added if they were to keep up with the custom built Hakkon weapons, the level 27 weapons are massively lackluster in comparison; The best crafted item in the game isn't craftable in MP, talking about Runes because some of them are amazing.
Also the things that would have made the current terrible MP crafting system were left in the SP part of the game: We didn't receive the ability to add Sigils to our gear when they were added to the game; Some of the more Unique weapons that would have made up for the lack of crafting were left out (such as the Prismatic Greataxe and Chromatic Greatsword and the Staff-sword which apparently had issues because of how they set up the Class walls in MP); The ability to change parts when you wanted to try something without destroying them to force you into buying more items or to hold onto the ones you find forever.
The complete removal of real crafting is one of the largest downfalls of the MP because I already spent hours grinding the SP portion of the game to craft a gorgeous weapon (It was a greatsword; named it Pendragon and named the parts Arthur and Uther) and when it came to MP I just didn't want to do it for weapons that I didn't really like the look of. It meant I was using weapons that were okay but I could have made something better like a Greatsword that covers people in Bees if the system were the way it should have been.
