So I imported the character I had from ME 1. It was the default Sheppard, Earthborn, Sole Survivor you know. Throughout the game I made mostly renegade choices. The key stuff that affected ME 2 for me, was Kaiden got blown away, Sheppard has love interest with Ashley, killed the council, Wrex survived, Udina made chairman of new human council.
Anyway I wanted to create a new game on ME 2 from the start. I noticed it didn't allow me to choose whether the council got destroyed or not, whether Ashley or Kaiden survived, not even Udina vs Anderson. It pretty much went with my import characters story. Do I have to make a new character on ME 1 and import them after I've beaten the game with them to get the right story I desire?
