Can we have someone like Vaylin. We just saw her few times and she is already thousand times better villain than Coryfish.
I killed 3 knight because they failed me, and then I killed 3 more because I hate odd numbers.

And her brother is great also,

You may want to list or formulate what you hope for in a villain since it'll make it easier to possibly take your request into consideration for the developers.

I rather liked Cory, or at least I felt like his story wasn't fully realized, but it was nicely touched. I just love the idea how he's a perfect coin flip to Liliana. Both are devoted to a sense of religion and philosophy and are true believers almost to an extreme zealot depending on how you look at it. Cory's desire to see god and the devastation of finding out everything he believed in was almost Saren level sad. Of course this is all depending on how much the player wants to dig into his backstory and for that matter how much they actually care for it. I just wish it was shown more.
But back on topic, yeah I'm hoping it's someone we can relate too, someone you can to a degree to eye to eye with, but at some point must disagree with. I'm a sucker for characters who are just pushed to an edge and see no other alternative but their way, but to a point have the betterment of others lives in mind. Kuvira from Legend of Korra is a great example of this, even The Illusive Man, Saren and Loghain as well.

I personally prefer villains who aren't even remotely sympathetic or likeable and elicit nothing but hatred and vitriol. Give me a cruel, malicious Emperor Palpatine or King Joffrey over a melodramatic, tragic villain any day. Defeating them or seeing them get defeated is always more satisfying.

They should get insight from some of the TOR writers because some of the villains in TOR are very good and better then Edmontons recent attempts.

I wouldn't mind a villain that makes the protagonist question which side he/she should be fighting for. Actually give us the option to jump ship if we believe the other side is right. However, it sounds like that would be a lot of work on the developers part.

Do we actually need a villian?
I mean, there's enough potential to have many exciting/adverse/hostile situations coming into a completely different galaxy without falling back on the traditional protagonist/antagonist binary.
Alternatively, being the newcomer into a possibly established system makes for a great opportunity to place the player in a more antagonistic role, so why not make the player into the villian (We come in peace, shoot to kill, want to have some beads for your planet?) ?

Would be nice with a villain that there is more depth to than a standard evil character who does things only to cause destruction.
If doing that kind of villain, he needs to be truly menacing to work well, Corypheus was a joke.

You know, if this game is about colony survival, a central villain won't do.
Rather the theme suggests constant struggles to beat off foes and find resources for colony growth, tech research and tech finding expeditions. I'm thinking towards Firefly like theme.
Here, you have all the rich ingredients for a wonderful story.

I'd like someone like the operative. He's a monster. What he does is evil, but it must be done.

I like the theory that we're the invaders of the galaxy. I would enjoy a Renegade-type play-through of that scenario.

I knew you would agree, Anakin.
And I would ask for your assistance with my rise to power but considering your... failures...

The leaked details set up the Khet as villains. Seems like they're trying to thwart your colonization efforts at every step. Very interested in knowing more.
Oh. They surely crush our freshly planted flowers.
I´m overwhelmed.
